He had shifted into a lion-species, so he had pretty good stamina.
"Have you lived anywhere but the cave?" He asked her, trying to keep it to 'yes' and 'no' questions.

Night nodded, flicking her tail towards the city to indicate she'd lived there for a time.

"Tsk. Bet' that sucked!"
They walked for a while, before it began to get dark. They were a ways away from the city now, so it was much darker.

Night nodded her agreement as a breeze blew past her. She sniffed the air and caught the scent of an elk and some other animals, immediately she slipped into a crouch and disappeared into the bush, returning a short while later with the elk hanging from her mouth.

"...Well that's just... Great, isn't it..?" He glanced at Miko, considering that she was a deer-humanoid.
"Nice catch!"

Night dropped and elk and shifted human, letting the blankets slide to the ground, "Sorry Miko, I got hungry."

Jay smiled softly.
"Don't let her throw a rock at you!" He leaned against a tree, and slid into a sitting position.

Night laughed, "Well if she knows anything about what happened the night Evette followed us to the cave she won't even try." She shifted back to her wolf form and made quick work of the elk

Evette was already back at the cave, while the doctor decided to stay put in his hut.
"Welcome back you two!" she shouted, waving from her "bedroom".
She wanted to rest after a while. She had an uneasy feeling about the plague guy.
