Her ears flick slightly at her mentor, listening as he spoke before shifting her gaze back to the camp entrance. She already knew her mentor's main focus so she could at least gain some attention and advise from Redstripe and Sunclaw if she needed it. Being only a moon away from being a warrior at the very least, she couldn't be relying on other cats anymore; unless it was her brother. Confident she could be like Harepaw for once in her life, she golden tabby eagerly shifts her paws as she waits for her mentor to take the lead.

Blindpool smiled at the young 'uns eagerness, and began the story after taking another bite of bird. "Once there was a warrior in Tigerclan. His name was Thorntooth. Tigers used to be fiery red in color, with nothing to distinguish themselves. Thorntooth was furious, for that very reason. He started to attack Lionclan and Leopardclan, taking fresh-kill and their kits. When the mighty tiger stole the young lioness Petalkit, Goldenstar's daughter. Shadestar, of Tigerclan did not want to start a war over the young lioness. He called a gathering to return the kit. Swiftstar of Leopardclan, along with Goldenstar did not want to ignore Thorntooth's behavior. The whole of Tigerclan was then punished. The Tigerclan cats were sentenced to give up their honor for a moon, or however long it would take for the attacks to stop. Goldenstar declared that Tigerclan would not be seen during the day, only at night. Having obeyed the order, TigerClan only came out during the night, and when the cats attended the next Gathering, they found that they had black stripes slashing through their pelts from living in the constant darkness." Satisfied of her story, she focused back on her black bird, finishing the rest of it. She licked her unseen whiskers, and let her sightless eyes land on Plumppaw.

Troutpaw let out a soft purr, and continued to play. After doing so for a while, he looked at Skykit, his playful mood turned to one of seriousness almost instantly, "Want to learn the battle moves now?"
