Dream hoard? - Dream number of the hoard?

Hoarding my dream hoard already - EPPS Lions. My dream goal would be 400, as that'd put me just above the current record. I'm not hoarding them strictly for the cs record, but it'd be super awesome to hold the record for them! They're unlimited, but I've made 400 my first big goal for that reason.

When did you first begin hoarding?

Somewhere between late 2011 and early 2012, I didn't make a post when I first started hoarding so can't track down the exact date.

How many unknown rarities do you have, and how many are in them?

I only have one unknown rarity hoard right now - black/blue shattered dogs- and it's at 17/30.

How many hoards do you have?

I am now at...45 hoards! 2 unlimited, 3 limited, the rest are completed.

It's funny, looking back to see when I first started hoarding I'd said "I'm not much of a big hoarder, not sure I ever will be" oh poor, naive 2012 TB with your 2 lil hoards, you were so wrong

Did anybody else think they'd only ever have 2 or 3 hoards and call it a day back when they first started and now has dozens?

to those who have or had done hoards with pets arranged in a checker pattern, how should I approach it? is it better to gather a lot and then just trade away the extras? ID swap pets? I'm not sure how to easily finish these types of hoards without getting really frustrated :p

Dream hoard?
Ever since I joined I always wanted to hoard sunjewels but that's obviously way too unrealistic. I've always wanted to hoard yellow toxics, UR butterbuns, BMDs, Grey border collie (used to and I'm trying to start that hoard up again but it's not working ;__; ). This wasn't exactly a dream hoard in the past but it was a favourite of mine and they were easy to trade for in the past, so I used to gift them off without a second thought. ;-; I wish I held onto them, it'd be a dream of mine to one day have this hoard working again. curse you demand, you're ridiculous

When did you first begin hoarding?
February 2012, so essentially the moment I was active on this site but I kept breaking apart hoard and such in the past and didn't really hoard at all, but my sunback plushies and my pink cookie second gen hoard stayed with me all these years. ♥ I never break hoards apart now usually.

How many unknown rarities do you have, and how many are in them?
Pink and blue flower easter bunnies - 25/50
Blue rainbow unicorn - 36/100
Grown porcelain pups - 18/50

How many hoards do you have?
2 rare + hoards (though my red cerberus hoard hasn't moved in forever)
9 completed hoards
7 incompleted hoards
1 infinite hoard
1 pending hoard (I really want to hoard grey border collie but I can't find or trade for any :\)
For a total of 20 hoards. ^^

Nah, when I first started I essentially hoarded every single interesting cat that came out. xD I eventually broke them up though, and didn't really find any designs I loved to hoard until 2015/2016. I only hoard designs that I absolutely adore nowadays.

So, I decided to start a new hoard to collect while it's inactive,
and I'm shocked to see it go so fast! I'm almost halfway.
I named it 'Droll Dromedaries', but name suggestions are always welcomed ♥

I couldn't help myself making these cuties a hoard too.
Man, I really should stop haha. These will be a small hoard
but may expand overtime, as their litter outcomes seem to
not be the most common thing in other's trade groups.

I've done it twice now, each time I found it easier to gather the amount I wanted of each and then ID swap. Gathering extras seems like too much work to sort through, unless you pay attention to the IDs, at which point you should've just ID swapped to begin with, you know? ID swapping seems really daunting, but once I got used to it with my first checkered hoard, doing it the second time around was super easy. And there's always loads of hoarders who are willing to do ID swaps, so you can end up getting the whole thing done in like a day!

I swear the last couple pets are always the hardest to find.
- Next to impossible. The pets either completely disappear,-poof- or people just don't want to trade (I have close to 20 trades that have been sitting for 2+ days) .
Neither is the reality but it sure feel like it

And then I am finally done. This'll likely be my last 100 pet hoard for a while.

I am ready to finish them.
These are really my only two active hoards at the moment though. I don't know what I'll do when I do finish them. I guess I could start another hoard, and I may at the end of the month ... but I am feeling pretty bleh' about the world at the moment. I don't want to start a hoard, just to 'start a hoard' anyway.

What's your most biggest hoard, and why are you so proud of it??
My biggest hoard is my Blue Swirl Hammies but it's not one that I'm currently "proud" of. I started hoarding them because it was a nice goal to beat for the CS Record, and its been my dream to get one of my hoards on there.
My proudest is currently my American Bunny hoard which is for my family who's served and anyone's else's family who's served for our country.

My dream hoard is my Coming Out - BiSexual hoard on which I just started today. I think I'm going to leave this one unlimited for now.

Hey do you guys overpay for your pets? Because I think I have overpayed for actually every single hoard pet I've traded for °-°

It depends on the type of hoard pet I'm getting and how many are in that trade.
If it's for 15 of my American Bunnies, I'll probably overpay for that one.
But if it's for 15 of my Rising Moon hoard, I'll just do a normal trade since its not totally important to me.
