@Narkitty - The registered name is the official name for the heifer. It's the one that is used on breeding and registration papers. Similar to racehorses, the official name is often complicated, while the barn name is short and sweet. An example would be 'A Midsummer Night Dream' for the official name and 'Dream' for the regular name.

@_Alex_ Thanks! Now I can make attempts to get more of your precious babes without worrying about that!

So, after thinking over this for a few hours, I have picked a winner.

Congrats to Isabella45 and her new little miss Eglantine. I absolutely adored her barn name and love how although cliche, her favorite flower was roses because they are dangerous in addition to being pretty. I can either grow her for you in three days time, or she can remain a calf for as long as you would like.
In addition, I would like to award a runner up heifer calf to xXIgnisXx. I liked the way your entry was centered around peaches. Just send me a pm with what breed you'd like (can be another simmental girl) and I'll have her up for you ASAP.
