Evette came back in time, and noticed Fire clawing the man.
"No! Stop, Fire!" she said, her backpack full with medicines, vials, and such. "He's trying to help Jay!"

I sheepishly turn to ramen-twoleg. "Oh... Yeah. Uh, sorry about that." I gaze at the man. His face was running with blood, cuts deep in his flesh. "Oops. Probably should think twice next time." I remind myself.

He sighed and growled at the beaste
"I'm trying to HELP.." He snarled and huffed

But I still didn't trust him. But then again, I don't trust probably 90% of the population so... That's not new. I just hope he really is trying to help Jay. Jay is the one person I trust the most.

"It's fine, you were just being overprotective. Kinda like Night..." Evette drifted off.
"Anyway, here are the medicines I was able to find at the stores," she said, handing the doctor the backpack. She picked Jay up and started running towards the medicine hut, where she could smell the various medicines that were also there.

Jay just stayed where he was, blocking out all noise, and focused on ignoring the pain throughout his whole body. He heard Feather and ramen girl, though... That was reassuring. But when ramen girl mentioned Night, he kind of crumpled all over again.

He nodded and opened the pack, while looking inside and huffing
"Alright.. Alright.." He growled and jogged after them

He wondered for a second... If this would stop if he shifted? Worth a try. He painfully shifted into a cat... aaaand to his disappointment, nothing changed. He just looked like roadkill right now...

The sensation of Jay shifting kinda grossed her out. Evette shivered.
They approached a medicine hut. She quickly went in and placed Jay softly on the floor.

He shifted back.
"Well." He squeaked.
"That did nothing but make it hurt more..."
