She smiled at the older cat. "They're probably waiting for us at the entrance." She meowed,"We were just about to leave you behind! I couldn't even see you there,in the dark."

Spiderpounce let out a small giggle "That's one of the things I like about having a black pelt" she meowed with a bright smile. "Let's go see if they're there" She added, and the young warrior padded past them and towards the entrance

"Good idea. They're probably getting a little impatient." Autumnpaw said wryly. She quickly caught up to Spiderpounce,"Do you think think we see the rouges?" The curious apprentice asked.

Snowpaw brightened at her mentor's praise and gave her uncle a playful headbutt as she trotted past him towards the entrance of camp. She knew the brown tom didn't mean to get under her fur as easily as he did. He was just overwhelming for her sometimes, but thankfully this was not one of those times.

Sparrowclaw smiled, glad Snowpaw wasn't offended by his teasing as she could be a bit sensitive sometimes. He turned back to the other two cats, about to ask if they were all set when Spottedpaw's stance caught his eye. "Heh, loosen up a little! We're hunting, not going to the Starpools." He chuckled.

"Uh, right, okay!" she nodded, loosening up her stance. She always loved going out of the camp, even if it were simply for something no more than hunting. She stood up and watched as Smokycloud padded away, then exclaimed, "Let's go!"

"We found her!" the young tom announced when they got back to the rest of the patrol.

Suddenly he leaped, paws outstretched and claws unsheathed. He landed on the branch with the thrush with ease, capturing the bird in his forepaws. He gave it a bite to the neck, killing it swiftly. Alright! That was awesome! he thought.
