Dusk sets heavily upon the misty Alaskan peaks of Mount Saint Elias.
As the stars begin to appear and settle their distant gazes' upon the land, an eerie mist begins to
surround you at the peak of the mountain, and a white fae pads out from the mist with a bright blue
Full Moon amulet around her neck. "I am Cora, one of the Guardians." She says barely above a whisper.
"The time has finally come to chose the new heirs of the Moon; for we former Guardians have finally passed on.
It is now the time to find the new 4 Guardians of the Moon.
Each Crest is represented by one wolf; The Crest (Crescent), The Lenity (Quarter/Half Moon),
The Full Moon, & lastly, The New Moon. " Her gentle voice seemed to harden at the last words.
"Each Guardian represents not only each crest of the Moon, but each prime Element of the world.
The Crest represents Air, The Lenity represents Earth/Nature, The Full Moon represents Water, & The New Moon represents Fire.
Each are like different scales of the balance of Life. Without one of these elements, life would not be possible." Three other winged wolves step from the mist, one dark brown brute with pine-green eyes and a bright Green Half-Moon Amulet, a grey fae with a white muzzle and ocean blue eyes, with a Pale White Crest Amulet, and lastly, a black brute with a scared amber eye, and a faded New Moon Crimson Amulet around his neck. The jet black brute steps forward and begins to speak in a deep voice: "I am Vince. Since the beginning of time, we wolves have watched for an eternity over the world and our natural descendants known as "Dogs". We wolves naturally look down upon the breeds of Dogs as in-purebred versions of wolves, or in unjust cases, abominations. However, the time has come to show the world that Dogs can be just as noble as us wolves."
The brute then stepped back and made room for the grey fae as she padded over. Her voice is surprisingly firm as she spoke: "I am Cadence." She briefly introduced herself. "These amulets that we all wear allow us to control our Elemental abilities. Since my ability is Air, I can control it in many ways, including even summoning sudden storms such as tornadoes and more. Extending her wings in show, she continues. "Each of us Guardians were gifted these wings to aid us in watch of our personal responsibilities. As the only K9's in the world with wings, we tend to stand out. Due to that factor, we can conceal our wings, but it is extremely painful to hide them. However, some of our offspring have been fortunate enough to inherit wings; but it is highly rare (Pm me)." She then made room for the brown brute. "I am Lazarus. Each of us Guardians also represent four basic packs that surround Mount Saint Elias; which are named to best describe our Element. Polar Pack for Water, Storm Pack for Air, Blaze Pack for Fire, & Pine Pack for Earth/Nature."
The brute then stepped back once more. As the white fae began to speak once more, her eyes & Amulet began to glow brightly in usion with the other's.
"We Guardians act as supreme leaders over each pack; even over Alphas. We may have mates, but they do not have the same rank of authority. If we have a mate, they are given an Alpha rank. As the main leader, we make the prime important decisions. Our Alphas act as Second in command and are normally in charge when we are away." After explaining, she begins to extend her wings and lays her amulet along with the other's in front of you. Below each amulet, lay carved words that appear under them: Pine Pack under the Green Crest, Polar Pack under the Blue Crest, Storm Pack under the Pale White, and Blaze Pack under the faded Crimson. And on a stone to your left, engraved into it are these words: "For those who's destiny lay else where...(Loner)". Cora's eyes look deeply into your own as you gaze at the amulets and the stone. "It is now time to chose your Destiny.
Will you join the Packs and confront your rivals together? Or face your demons on your own?"
As she was about to fly away, she glanced back at you. "I almost forgot about the catch.." she allowed a pause for effect.
"Each Guardian is not exactly chosen remotely. They are chosen at Birth, and could be anywhere at this moment. It is the prime duty of the four packs to find their Guardian. This is where your quest begins. Are you one of the Guardians? Or are you one of their rivals..?"

As you may already by wondering about the Guardian Positions, I will be naturally taking up one of the positions to help set the RP in motion, which leaves three more positions. The Guardians will be decided randomly for one person each; specifically people who tend to be the most active. Just to be clear, the Guardians do not need to be Wolves; they may be any K9. The specifics of the Guardian's duty is the keep balance between/within packs, to root out any evil ambitious wolves, and to seek out any potential threat to the balance of Life. Their current rival is called Verimina, and she seeks to overthrow the Guardians, and take over the four Elemental Packs. Verimina is recognizable by her black/crimson mixed pelt, her inherited wings, and her unusual purple eyes. Allies of Verimina are all scattered in each pack, and seek to gain power under her if she succeeds. Only her most trusted allies can contact her, and some are fortunate enough to gain her favor. The setting is about 800 B.C. For those who don't know this era, it is in the Greek, Ancient Egyptians, and many other settlements were beginning to rise after what was called "The Dark Ages". This is what is known as the birth of the Medieval Era which took place about 200 years later (The 5th Century). Each Pack is in their own specific territory in Alaska, around a mountain called Mount Saint Elias, as was mentioned in the introduction. Once again, I'd like to specify that you must PM me if you're interested in having one of your characters inherit wings. Please PM me about your intentions and why I should allow you to have them. After all, I can't let everyone have them if they're called 'rare' for a reason!

~A Walk Through the Territories~
Mount Saint Elias is visible for miles from the Human Village a few hundred miles away from the nearest border, the Polar Pack. There, a frozen over river lay with many bushes and hand fulls of pine trees and a few willows gather to provide shelter. The camp is surrounded by big rocks and thorn bushes for defensive terms. In the camp, you will see many huge boulders piled upon each other; providing dens for the pack. The largest boulder is the Full Moon Guardian's Den, while the other's are organized from the Alpha Den & Healer's Den, to the lower ranks near the entrance. This order is organized in the same manner for every pack. Further ahead is another border, Pine Pack. There are many pine and oak trees gathered with extremely thick undergrowth of tall grass; along with a few small streams that break off from the river. The territory is mainly a moor. The camp is surrounded by thorn bushes and thick logs. The Main Den of the Lenity Guardian lay underneath the roots of an Ancient tree called "The Amity". The next border lay further up the mountain, where the Blaze Pack lay. The territory is filled with dense sets of pine trees and many shadowy cliff-sides. Many bushes and are gathered within the area; providing perfect cover. The camp is defend/surrounded as expected to be, along with a natural cave of catacombs that provide shelter for the Pack. Almost on top of the mountain, live the Storm Pack. Since not many trees reach the top of the mountain because of the altitude, It is only natural that they hunt in the open with little undergrowth to hide them. Their camp rests under the shelter of a jagged Cliff side where an arc-like almost cave shields them from the harsh weather. Lastly, a dried up moor, not many trees, and thick bushes lay further to the east. This is where Verimina's territory begins. To be specific, the land is a dusty waste land because of a volcanic eruption millions of years ago. Verimina and her loyal rouges have a camp inside a rupture of the Shield Volcano (Shield volcanoes have lava flows with low viscosity that flow dozens of kilometers; this makes them so that they are very unlikely to erupt). Within the catacombs of natural caves carved from magma, is where they have made their camp. The air isn't very clean inside, but it provides year round warmth and shelter for the forsaken. Every full moon, the packs gather at the lake that meets at the bases of each Territory. However, since Verimina's Rouges aren't a pack and cannot attend, she normally sends spies over to hear the news.
~Guardian Properties~

Guardians may seem invincible due to their incredible abilities, but in reality, each time they use their powers, it uses up their own Life Energy; which takes a while to regenerate depending on how extreme they use their power (Like the Lenity Guardian creating an earthquake). Usually after using an extreme amount of power, a Guardian can experience extreme cases of exhaustion, dehydration, migraines, hunger pains, muscle aches, and also nose bleeds.
All of which that are underlined are the most common of side effects by using their power.
The Amulets are the key to each Guardians' powers. Each amulet is crafted different and are made to seem ordinary to the common eye, but there will be no mistake once it has chosen the next Elemental Guardian. The process of finding a Guardian is exceedingly difficult and can take many seasons to find since the next Guardian could be any K9 in Alaska. To seek weather a K9 is the Guardian, each pack after one season their Guardian has passed on, will gather beneath the full moon to allow their newest generation try on each amulet. It doesn't matter what pack the K9 was or wasn't born in, for once one of the amulets has chosen it's Guardian, there is no turning back. First, it will begin to glow brightly; surrounding the K9 with it's magic/element and begin the transformation into a Guardian: reinforced muscles, healed scars/wounds, keener eyes, increased intelligence about each Elemental ability, and lastly, the wings. Seekers are graduated Healers that are both experienced in healing, combat, and connected to their Deity, the Star Guardians. There are three Seekers per pack, and are trusted to care and guard the amulet with their lives and search wherever they must to find the next Guardian, and bring them to their pack. Although the Seekers haven't been used in generations, now may be the time to summon them back to Mount Saint Elias.

enhance the body by collecting and manipulating water

The Lenity Guardian is connected to Mother Nature at heart.
Because user can communicate with nature, they become instantly
familiar with their surroundings, the connection is so deep that the
earth can respond to one's emotions and desires
(blossoming with flowers and calming weather when happy,
shifting the landscape to gain the advantage in a fight, etc.)
The user can purify, heal and generally influence the health of nature,
and considering the fact that they're helping the environment,
plants and animals act favorably towards user.
They have access to every living species of animal on
Earth and can also draw strength from them and acquire their abilities.
Nature obeys users every command and operate on a "hive mind",
meaning users can control an entire army of animals.✡Dark Matter✡

The Amulet: x
The Dark Matter is a very dangerous Element that has been
discovered by Verimina. It is opposite to regular matter,
except it can deteriorate normal matter. Regular matter is made
of all physically existing things in the universe, so image the power to
destroy matter. Other abilities include inhabiting a living form (Possession),
Telekinesis, and having the ability to see the dead/ghosts.

The infinite flowing current of Air runs
through the Crest Guardian.He/She can create, shape
and manipulate air, the common name given
to the layer of atmospheric gases
and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen)
surrounding the planet Earth that is retained
by Earth's gravity, and wind, movement of
air relative to the surface of the planet.
It is an important factor in determining and
controlling climate and weather,
and the generating force of
most ocean and freshwater waves.
Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences
in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes,
squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods,
neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it,
making it an invisible and versatile weapon
that is very difficult to block and dodge.☪New Moon☪
☪Element: Fire
The Amulet: x
The fury of Fire is connected to the New Moon Guardian
like a wild fire out of control. Although Fire's abilities mainly involve
destruction, Fire is also like a prideful heartbeat of emotion.
Depending on the user's mood, He/She can create, shape & manipulate fire,
the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical
process of combustion, releasing heat, light,
and various reaction products, flame being the visible
portion of the fire. Depending on the substances alight, and any
impurities outside, the color of the flame and the
fire's intensity will be different. Any color of fire can be produced,
but temperature will determine that.
