hi! i hope it's alright if i ask a question (anyone can answer)
so, recently i decided to stop trying to get every pet on the site and decided instead to focus on a few hoards and collecting only the pets i like. two of the hoards are unknown rarities from the easter event and the other two are common from 2015 and 2014. what's the best way to get trades? should you send lots of trades or frequently bump your trade thread?

Usually I do like... Quantity in a way. You could auction it for quantity of hoard/wishlist. Uhm there are also other ways but with unknowns its harder cause they could range from omg so common to rare.

I hoard a few of the easter bunny pets, I usually bump my trade thread frequently
asking for hoards, I always stake out the easter swap thread as well to see if anyone
is offering the hoard pets i'm looking for, also for a few of them I ran an auction for
just hard pets and that got me quite a few of them as well. Also just making trades
with a lot of different players [ I usually have around 30+ trades on the go.. ouch ]
but they all get accepted/rejected in groups so there is a huge influx then as well c:

Some will depend on how sought out the pet you are hoarding is, for example i'm
hoarding the lying down bunnies in which I think they were free adopts? So there
are plenty of them running around, if the pet you're hoarding is a token trade in
they may be slightly harder to come across as some people may not have doubles,
so could be wanting a slight bit of overpay - but then if you offer overpay and it's
well known that you offer it then the trades should come pouring in for you! <33 ;;

For a quantity auction maybe try a recent rare or a set of uncommons rather
than an older rare/very rare, just because it's definitely more likely to end up
fair and depending on the rare/uncommon you offer up possible overpay bids c:

For me, I would send out so many trades my fingers got tired. Though, putting your hoard pets image in your trade setting and on your thread is a good idea. ^^ I do the same and even with not sending out trades often somehow trades manage to come in. Unknown rarities are a challenge(a fun one at the most)so I wish you luck!

Edit: I've done a quantity auction like _pigeon & Zoey mentioned. Just for a zodiac I got over 400 dogs for fodder and hoards. 400+ is absolute major.
