Right, now let's see if I can address everything in one post lmao...

For the cat numbers - it was decided earlier on that it would be about six, or at the most extreme eight, correct, if memory serves.

POV - Any POV is fine imo as long as it's clear which cat is speaking.

Pictures - I agree that pics aren't necessary, as long as there is a description that's not insane.

Prefixes - I'm gonna agree with Bear on this one. I think it should be that a prefix can only be used on one cat at any given time. If the character dies, then the prefix can be used again.

Another thing I'd like to address - The whole excessive reincarnation thing is getting reaaaaally ridiculous. I think that should be stopped. It's basically making every cat the same just so you can keep that character in use. It's a roleplay, death is gonna happen, you just have to accept it. I hope that didn't come off as rude. It's just getting pretty annoying that cats keep popping up. Now, this hasn't got anything to do with the prophecy cats that came back from the dead, obviously, as that was a prophecy and they were called by StarClan to complete a destiny and etc.



Anything above can be debated upon or voted upon or whatever so we can decide what works best for the majority, if not all, of the roleplayers.

Oh really? I haven't really been keeping up on the warrior cats books lately, as I've been rereading 2 series (by the same author) I wanted to reread, because I read them a long time ago and never finished them. They're called Guardians of Ga'Hoole and Wolves of the Beyond, and they both take place in the same world.

Anyways, responding to some of cas' post.

Prefixes - I think that in some unique cases 2 cats can have the same prefixes but no more. As for those 'some cases' I mean if the creator can't think of another name that would fit them and sound as nice as the other. For example, if Person 1 has a character named Snowsong and Person 2 wants to make a Snowfur, then Person 2 should try harder. If Snowfur has white fur and Person 2 wants their name to represent that, they could be lots of things. Cloudfur, Swanfur, Blizzardfur, Whitefur, and many more.
Lol that probably sounds stupid. I have no irl friends so I have no idea how to talk.


Also what were some cats that were reincarnated without being in a prophecy or anything? I've never heard of any, although I don't normally stalk the thread reading other people's character forms.

It was decided prior that we would be able to keep any cats we have now unless we desire not to, and we would be able to create a new car each month if we see fit to avoid overpopulation from those trying to get 3+ kits in a month.
If you want, I can find the post but almost everyone agreed with this notion, seeing that for those who have been around longer, they have more cats with more emotional connections to them.
Saying someone who may have around 14 lets say cats at the moment that they had to choose their 8 favorites may upset them.
We have already discussed this as well and it was decided after the notion to own 6 or so cats was put into affect without a general approval (seeing how many people did not agree with it.)

Honestly, we have discussed this before and I do not mean to sound rude, but I would rather not argue about this any more than we already have. We disgusted it before and simply, the idea of having to throw out my cats who I have bonds with each of disgusts me. Besides, this has always been the way Nightclan's has been since volume one, where you can have as many cats as you wish/can handle. If you wish to only have six to eight cats than so be it! But other's personal preferences should not defer others who have more than 6-8 cats of their right from volume one on of having as many characters as they wish.
If I were to have known that I was to be limited to six cats now way back when I joined in volume one, I would have likely only created 4-5 cats. But now, I stand here with many more cats, all of which have a deep, developed history and personality which I simply do not want to go to waste! I see this thread as keeping our role playing going to honor the loss of a friend. I have many cats who are/were mates, friends, and siblings of Spirits, and throwing them out it just like throwing out a memory.

I vote that the rule remains the same. We get to keep what we have if we see fit, and are still required to write full, good responses for each cat. If others wish to only have six cats, they can feel free but it is unfair to ask that people purge their cats simply to uphold these rules.

I agree with everything Cas has stated thus far. However, and I do not know if this is a problem so far, but I would like to propose that any cats that we currently have starting off that share prefixes should be allowed to keep them. For example, let's say in V6 there was a Hollylight and a Hollyfeather, and both were to be transferred over to V7. It would be optional for one or both to change their prefix, but not required. Any cats not made during or before the V6 timeline would have to have opposing prefixes.
Does that make any sense?

I think there are several around that people just keep asking to bring back, because they kill them off for drama or whatever and then just don't want to stop roleplaying them. I think there's Night and Remedy that were reincarnated at the moment?

About the cat number rule - I also see no problem with keeping as many cats as you can handle, but I thought it was already agreed back when V.7 was just being discussed that we'd stick to 6-8. : p

Today we're taking my Mom's husband to the airport so he can return home. I've been really busy lately with their wedding, events leading up, school, and life in general lately, and I apologize for inactivity; regardless, the likelihood of me getting anything done on here today is very, very slim. That being said I've got a word document that I'm using to work on coding and etc., I may bring my laptop with me and work on it as it's a pretty long car ride.
