Pineclaw mumbled somewhat of an apology, a smile still planted on his face. "In all seriousness though, what do you think that weird cat wants?" He asked to no one in particular.

"Oh, I just guessed because of your cream-coloured fur.." He lied, forcing a smile. He looked into the leader's den. "Stormstar? Are you busy?" He asked.

'Riight...' She replied, unconvinced. However she was distracted when they entered the leaders den.

"I'm not sure." She replied satisfied with the apologies.
"Maybe they are setting some territory boundries or something like that." Gingersplash said uncertainly glancing worriedly up at Stormstar's den.

He grunted, thinking of less prey and more possible fights. "Leafbare is always hard enough, never mind having to share out our only source of food and everything else we have to live off."

"You're telling me! It took forever to catch that rabbit I brought back this morning!" Gingersplash groaned

"How about the tree of us go eat? We could use a break!" Gingersplash said warmly to her friends. "I can go get Mintpaw and have her join us to! She hinted like a pro earlier!" She continued proudly at her apprentice's success.

Pineclaw chuckled. "And I'm sure she got it under you're careful guidance." He purred, nudging her jokingly before starting to pad away in the direction Mintpaw had gone off in. "I'll go find Mintpaw, then we can go off."
