Hickorygaze panted, hearing Nightshade hiss something before telling Maplewish to tend to their wounds. Hickorygaze sat up, the look in his eyes gone, replaced with this calmness. He sighed, looking at Thorn, "You did pretty well, I think better than me," Hickorygaze smiled, trying to start fresh with all the new clan members.

Fallen heard her name called. She was sitting in the shadows, her gray pelt smoothed down from cleaning it and her orange eyes blazing with eagerness. She loved to battle with the other cats, especially when she was a kit. She shivered remembering back to the old skyclan days, when she lied so much. She planned to change that. She got up, flicking her tail and walking over to Nightshade, her eyes showing she was ready.

Frost nodded in turn, her earlier adrenaline wearing off. "You did quite well too," she said with a glimmer of admiration in her eyes; but soon concealed. Turning to the young apprentice, she padded over and sat on her hunches warily. "My deepest cut is on my left flank.." she said through clenched teeth as she spotted Nightshade glaring at her slightly.

Nightshade met Frost's sharply, but she said nothing as she turned to her next batch of apprentices. Fallen(snow)'s eyes were glowing with eagerness along with her opponent, Dusk(rise), who seemed clam, but something told Nightshade he was more brute than he was willing to show. "We'll see about that.." she silently chided as she retraced the arena around them. "Step out of this ring, you get to take care of your opponent's apprentice duties for a quarter moon." she said with a slight growl and sat with her tail curled around her paws expectantly. "Begin." she said more eerily.

Brackenclaw watched as the two she-cats padded out of the camp. Sighing, he padded over to Smokestar's side, and began to converse on needed improvements to the camp now that it was officially spring. "Do you think we need to improve the camp entrance, Smokestar?"

Willowbreeze beckoned Cedarbreeze over as she spotted some cobwebs in a near by bush not too far from camp. Flicking her tail, she briefly explained how to collect them without ripping them, then carried onward through the territory. "I still need Burdock root, Thyme, and Poppy seeds.." she murmured.
