Milo shrugged slightly, and fiddled with the hem of his shirt. "It's fine," he said, looking at the floor. "And, Ella?" Now he was looking into her eyes with his green ones. "Uh..." In a bit of a rush, he said, "I didn't mean what I said to Ingo. You're... you're pretty cool. And tough. And... well, er, you know, pretty and all that."

Ella smiled, flattered. "Thanks. You're not bad yourself. Muscely (SP?) and suck." She said, a bit awkwardly. She put her hands behind her back and smiled at him.

Milo blushed slightly, although it wasn't noticeable on his dark skin. He coughed quietly and looked down at his bare feet, then broke the silence by sidling quietly out the door and up onto the deck. From here he scaled the rigging and popped up into the crow's nest, balancing carefully on the railing. He looked out over the ocean and sighed, realizing that all the charm in the world can't get you out of an awkward situation.

Ella smiled and followed him out. She went to swab the deck. She grabbed a mop and started cleaning. She got bored and went to the kitchen.

"Do you think that you guys over there have any extra crew members, Im in terrible need of more. Its just me and me bird here." Cotton flew up next to Caroline and squawked "'Ello there". Caroline laughed and stood on the edge of the ship. (Heres The Ship vvv)

"Sorry. We're using all our members. But you could join ours if you wanted." Alexa said, not wanting to leave the girl alone, but not risking a crew member.

Milo saw that Ella had started mopping the deck, but when she left the job unfinished the young man sprung at the opportunity to take his mind off of things. He grabbed the mop and began swabbing the deck, happy to lose himself in the dull chore.

Ella started cooking a huge feast, for all the new crew members and because she just happened to know that it was Ingo's birthday. She started by cooking some chicken she found, moving on to making a fruit salad.

Milo sniffed the air and smelled something delicious cooking. He moved over to mop just outside the kitchen door, and called in to Ella, "Is it somebody's birthday? 'Cause if it is, I could make a cake or something."

"Milo, I don't want the kitchen bursting into flames." Ella called back laughing. She moved on to some sea food, frying it and adding it to the bowl now sitting on the counter. She walked to the cabinet and pulled out ingrediants for a cake.
