He sighed.
"The cave is over here. This is where we're staying. It's a cave. Yeah, make yourself comfortable," he gestured to the opening.

"Tsk. We're pretty well protected here, the owner of the cave is a wolf and few people come out this far. As for pollution..." He patted his mask.
"I'm well off for a while."

He studied her for a second, then shifted into a Deer-humanoid like her.
"I haven't seen many like you."

"What?" He asked, surveying the new form. It has been a while since he shifted out of tiger species.

Evette woke during the commotion and watched. The deer humanoid look oddly familiar to an old friend... but she died when hunters found her.
