"that," she answered rift, moving to the back of the pool chamber, "is why we have back ways." she heaved a huge stone aside, revealing a dark passageway, dripping from the ceiling. "even the guardians don't know about this. i found it accidentally when i fell from a stalagmite and knocked the rock aside a bit." snowstorm grinned at pharaoh and rift. "pretty awesome, huh?"

"Just the few of us?" Rift asked, glancing over at the rest of the sleeping dragons. "I don't think that's a very good idea." He strode over to the passageway, peering over the boulder and admiring the dampness of the tunnel. "Ah, very humid. I can live with that. But it's still a little cold," he admitted.

Pharaoh- Pharaoh shook his head. "Amazing!" he admired approvingly. He stared down the passageway. "I'll go first. I can breath fire, and you can follow my heated scale pulses."

"Or," Rift pushed past, "I could use my light-up scales and lead with my night vision and waste less energy." He slipped into the tunnel, flicking his ears.

snowstorm stepped in after them, grinning with excitement and anticipation. she glanced back at the others. "im not sure how deep it goes or how long it is, but i know it leads outside. i can feel a breeze." she followed rift into the tunnel, flicking her pierced ear. she had never been fully outside, among the other dragons of pyrrhia. outside lay both adventure and a seemingly impossible destiny for them. saving the lands from the nightwings.

Pharaoh- "Yeah, sure," Pharaoh muttered, following Snowstorm. He sighed. He was strong, he could handle leading them down a tunnel. He just wanted to amount to something.
