Pikeflower eyed up both pieces of prey before grabbing the rabbit from her. He dropped it at his paws before asking, "Do you, uh, want to share it?" He asked. "It is plenty big enough to feed two cats. It would be a waste if I don't finish it." The tom quickly added.

"Okay!"

*She was going to sit next to the tom, but instead sat across from him. She got a chunk from the rabbit and started chewing.*

"So... Why do you hate blood? I hate blood because my mate died from the foxes... they flung him around and blood just flew everywhere... it was terrible. He was the old leader of Thornclan."

*She closed her eyes as her heart broke into two again, the memory always brought sadness into her eyes*

*Tinypaw woke at last and stumbled sleepily out of the apprentice den, blinking in the sunlight. She shook her head to wake herself and decided to head out hunting alone. She pounced lazily onto a mouse and flipped over as she caught it. She lay there for a while, half asleep, chewing on its tail, until she finally pushed it under a bush and stalked towards a bird. She lumbered noisily towards it and it flew away, screaming. She muttered angrily under her breath, grabbed the mouse and took it to the fresh kill pile*

"That is a very nice catch, Tinypaw."

*Stonestar said to the apprentice. She looked a little sleepy.*

"Are you tired?"

"Thank you" *She smiled weakly.* "Uh, no, I'm fine"

"If you are tired, you could take a run down to the river and back."

*He smiled*

Skyheart dropped his catch onto the fresh-kill pile, and padded over to the other side of the clearing

Pikeflower's ears angled back to display his unease with the topic. Just the idea of having to recall past events was causing him to loose his appetite so he hadn't yet taken a bite of the prey. "My mate died giving birth. There was a lot of blood." He said simply. It was true what he said but it hadn't been that event that triggered his fear of blood.

*Mistyclaw looked down at her paws*

"I'm sorry about your mate. What about her kits? Where are they?"

*She walked away semi-fast and then slowed to a much more leisurely pace once she was out of sight*
