It started slowly, at least at first. A pridemate would leave on a hunt, and never return. All traces of a lone zver in the territory would suddenly fade into nothing. Most of us thought nothing of it, just figured they were deserters, or the loner caught our scent and fled. Soon, more of us started disappearing. There was no blood, no gunshots, no whispers of any threat, so we didn't know what was going on. Not until they came for us all instead of picking us off one by one.Then there was this place. We don't know why we're here, but we do know we can smell other zvers. Unfamiliar zvers.

For most of the planet's recorded history, Quartan3 has belonged to the zvers. Top of the food chain, nothing preyed on them and they were comfortable in their position. Then the invasion happened.

A cruel species of aliens from a dying planet realized that they could survive on Quartan3. However, the zvers provided an obstacle, and so they were removed. Thousands of them were packed into ships and carted off planet to be exterminated. The invasion nearly drove the species to extinction, but one ship ended up crashing on Earth. The cruel captors perished, but the zvers on the ship survived the crash. This is where your journey begins.

Ediel is emotionally balanced, which means that he is less prone to depression and he's able to cope well with feelings of anxiety, anger and vulnerability. With a good sense of social awareness due to having lead a pride, Ediel tends to be outgoing and enthusiastic, often asserting himself with ease in groups. This zver enjoys a good balance between the real world and fantasy, making him an entertaining and inventive story teller. Being open-minded to new and unusual ideas helps him to interact with the world without hostility, which also makes him a fair and well loved leader. With a sense of social responsibility and a general trust in others, Ediel is often seen as sincere and generous. In most situations, Ediel generally has good self discipline and is recognized as being able to plan and think ahead.

This zver does not experience strong, irresistible cravings and consequently does not find himself tempted to overindulge. He does tend to feel overwhelmed by, and therefore actively avoid, large crowds. Because of his issues with large crowds, he often needs privacy and time for himself. Others sometimes mistake this need as Ediel being vain, which bothers him.

Familiar routines are good, but sometimes Ediel enjoys a bit of adventure or activity. Because of this, he is often traveling and is rarely home. Wherever he is, Ediel finds helping others genuinely rewarding and is generally willing to assist those who are in need. He feels that doing things for others is a form of self-fulfilment rather than self-sacrifice, however he does believe that a certain amount of deception in social relationships is necessary. Because of this, he is guarded in new relationships and less willing to openly reveal the whole truth about himself. None of his secrets are harmful so he doesn't feel bad about the secrecy.

He has a very strong will-power and is able to overcome your reluctance to begin tasks, no matter how much he doesn't want to do them. Once he has begun something, he is easily able to stay on track despite distractions. He is generally calm, although too much noise can make him feel anxious or tense. Even when tense, Ediel rarely gets angry and it takes a lot to make him angry. Once he has been angered however, his temper is very bad. This zver is usually in a good frame of mind, and sadness does not tend to come around too often. He is also rather confident, not even slightly self conscious about himself. Despite this confidence, he is not arrogant however and finds it easy to make friends. He genuinely likes others and openly demonstrates positive feelings toward them. As said earlier, he makes friends quickly and it is easy for him to form close, intimate relationships. As expected from an alpha zver, Ediel doesn't hesitate to speak out, take charge, and direct the activities of others. He is almost always the leader in group activities when he cannot avoid them.

Ediel generally leads a fast-paced and busy life. He moves about quickly, energetically, and vigorously and is involved in many activities no matter where he happens to be. As long as he has a quiet place to retreat every so often, he loves the bright lights and hustle and bustle found in cities and spends a lot of time there. He is definitely a thrill seeker, and is very likely to take risks that others may consider not worth it. Despite this, he is safety conscious and will not put himself in physical danger lightly.

At odds with his generally nice behavior, this male is not adverse to confrontation and will sometimes even intimidate others to get his own way. In fact, he enjoys physical spars although he does not like it when these spars result in injuries. Because of his love of sparring, when this zver is forced into real fights he is very adept. He favors quickly subduing his opponents to reduce the risk of bad injuries to himself and to his opponent.

Ediel is not really that modest, not hesitating to take credit for good things that he does. However, he will not often talk himself up. He is tender hearted and compassionate, feeling the pain of others vicariously and is easily moved to empathy. He doesn't hesitate to offer help when he feels others need it, even if it means he goes without. This aspect of his personality makes him a great leader, although he doesn't like to acknowledge that fact as it makes him long for Quartan.

Hardened by the death of his first born son and his capture soon after the birth of his second, Cameron can come across as harsh and mistrustful. He has no interest in the humans of Earth and has very little care for the well-being of other zvers who crashed on the ship with him. He is a natural leader, having been the leader of his pride back home. Cam doesn't mind a bit of silent company, but as he's currently grieving the loss of his mate and cubs he has no interest in love.


{History}
Cameron was the firstborn of his father, Marouk and mother, Lya. He was raised as the sub male and took over the pride at the age of 12, together with his mate Kidasha. The next year he had, and lost, his firstborn son to the noch. The loss hit him hard and he never fully recovered before his second son and three daughters were born 14 months later.
When the noch invaded his territory once more, he didn't wait for them to reach his mate and cubs this time. Instead he took three other males and attacked the group head-on.
Unfortunately they severely underestimated the noch intelligence. Two of the three males were killed on the spot, and Cameron and his other surviving pride member were taken alive and placed on separate ships headed off planet.
