Has anyone considered writing a diary based off The Mortal Instruments?

I'm heavily basing my Tree on The Shadowhunters Chronicles, but I haven't updated in forever... Gah, I feel really bad about that. >w<

And as for writer's block, I've got absolutely no idea. Sometimes it could help to looks up prompts online, listen to music, read some old posts or other works... stuff like that.

I'll need to start reading it. I haven't read the books but I've been really liking the TV Show recently.
Also, are the animals with the light things above them supposed to resemble runes? (I also noticed a lot of your animals have swirly markings and patterns, resembling runes. XD)

I believe what you are referring to are the wings? They're just wings, and many dogs are born with them. On cats and other animals, they're more rare. If they aren't what you're referring to, you'll have to be a bit more specific or use an image. And as for the 'swirly markings' comment... goodbye eye, I hadn't even noticed that. You're right! I had noticed some swirled and fancy-shaped markings on a few pets, reminded me of runes.

so I've been considering making my own pet diary parody, after seeing all the lovely creative ones made by you folks! <3 however, mine would be a little...different.
it'd probably take place in a sort of hellish underworld-like place, and the main character would be a fox who's trying to start a revolution of sorts cx she'd have a few friends - one of which who works for the guy in charge of the underworld - and it'd basically be illustrating her everyday life? though there would be a major plot underlining each entry eue

what do you guys think of that? ;v; anything I should add to spice it up a bit? I'm thinking of calling it "diary of a deadman" or "the deadman chronicles" or something like that. (idk, I just really like the sound of deadman right now xD)

and please, please, please do not take this idea! ;v;'' took me a while to come up with this, and I'd hate to have someone else take credit for it ;A;''

That would be so awesome... that's a really creative way to work with this genre of sorts! Also, if your main character is a girl, I would consider "deadwoman" instead of "deadman" bec- OH GOSH WHAT IF SHE HAD A MAJOR FEMINIST BEST FRIEND THAT FORCED THAT UPON HER AND-
