They would be little white puppies. The United States could be drawn on the blanket surrounded by another solid color of choice.

In their puppy stage, They would have the color of the blanket on them, and their selected state on their fur somewhere.

As adults, They would have gained a land feature on it's fur from that state, and they would still have the state.
Rhode Island would probably be a pps, but it would gain the land feature like the others.

Or maybe countries?

That's be cool, but why not take it one step further and breed the BEG/CEG with the Sunback to get Moon, Sun, AND Star pups all from the same litter!

What about a bunch of Greek Mythology released pets? I'm not suggesting we make an entire new species for them. But, it could be cool to have dogs based off of the Greek gods and goddesses released, or based off of creatures like gorgons, sirens, nixies, minotaurs, etc.

How about Ancient Rome/Scandivania/etc. based pets? Since we already made Egyptian pets already, we could make another event and have it based on the Ancients! I wouldn't include Ancient China though, because we have Chinese New Year already. But if there is one, maybe you could put the event during that time (which would be ABSOLUTELY COOL!)

I like your idea! Although I'd just stick with something like gemstone dogs/cats, since I have no idea what opalescent or specularite is- (//le TNT'd by pro) Speaking of gemstones, how about you release a unique dog/cat/other species every month for a random day of that month? (E.G. June is pearl. Release a pearl dog on, say, 9th of June and only on that day can you adopt that pet)

I think that would make an interesting design. :3

Also, how about sea glass? The pets could be semi-transparent and with a slightly "worn" looking lineart.

I would also like to see pets made of broken glass.
