I had this problem too! I fixed it by downloading a mod that made it possible to purchase potions made in the science bench from generations, and then just bought the imaginary friend potion and gave it to the kid with the friend to give to them.

yeah, it's pretty awesome, especially if I'm just not in the mood to go hunting for rainbow gems. if you'd like, I can try and find the mod for you. I believe I got it from modthesims.

I've only got a few mods for hair/clothes/makeup etc. but that's all I have. I haven't really had a look at any in-game mods, do any of you have any ones you like?

pfff, mods. right now i have 1,655. can't play without them at this point
most of them are adds stuff to build mode, but i definitely have my fair share of hair and clothes too.

anyone else super into decorating? i used to go without, but after i took interior design classes for school its what i do most of the time in-game.
