Upcoming Rarity Changes Discussion

You know what Tess should do? She should delete all of the inactive accounts after a certain time frame so cheating doesn't happen and there are more pets for all those who play!!

This kind of suggestion doesn't belong here because this thread relates to rarity changes and discussions about them. That said, this isn't really a great idea. Deleting inactive accounts wouldn't do anything to benefit current users and it isn't fair to older users who may want to come back and play one day. I see people who haven't played in years re-intoduce themselves on the intro board all the time. Personally, I think our current system, which takes into account inactive users when determining rarities, is well thought out and makes a lot of sense.

I myself was one of those longterm inactive accounts, I came back to CS in 2015 after being on for 2 years in 2011-2012 so I would have really been out of luck! The top comment also does not belong on this thread.

Question my dear friends uvu did rarities recently drop- or at least come up to date with the re-release? I found an uncommon in my rares. And I wanted to know if this was the case (or I just had an organization issue)

I was really happy to see a few rarities go up. Anyone think the trend will continue? I'm definitely hoping that it will!

Also , I believe (please correct me if I am wrong) that after 6 months of inactivity, the rarity is not effected by those accounts.

Its from September 2010. I have it in my list pets, so I am confused as to it was a very rare and has been decreased to a rare or if I am going crazy?

yes it was a VR back when the system calculated rarities differently

I don't know a lot about it myself exactly but it's how many pets are available per active account.
