Hope's eyes widen at the fall. She's a bit red and slightly embarrassed but that doesn't seem to faze her much and she playfully tries to grab at the hat again, laughing harder than she has in a long while.

He stuck the hat on his head again, and smiled as he shifted into Hope, a shadow version of her and giggled
He backed up and fixed the hat atop his curly black hair, posing like he was all that now that he looked exactly like her

Hope was surprised at first and then smiled widely. She concentrated for a while and slowly shifted into Venden and also posed with a triumphant grin. It was difficult for her to make a full shift, often it would be small additions to her appearance. She was quite proud.
