How do you come up with names and personalities for each character?
Personalities I ususally come up with as soon as I get a character, I usually won't buy a character unless I have a concept for it first. Names are tougher, I just search some websites until I find a name that I think fits the character best!

which character do you own is the most like you personality-wise?
Well other than the character that's meant to represent me, there are bits and pieces of my personality that can be found in a few of my characters.

Has there ever been a character that you hated? Why?
Of other people's characters, of course, mainly because of my tastes being different than other people, which is fine, it happens. Of my own, well not really. I don't have exceptions to my own tastes within my characters, not because I refuse to buy characters that deviate from my interests, but because I just haven't found any exceptions.

How do you come up with names and personalities for each character?
This might sound really weird, but I base my character's personalities on real-life friends/people who I know.
They're slightly altered, but if they have some small quirks about them that I really like and I start expanding more and more about their likes/dislikes to create a full personality for them. I basically bring my characters to life using those quirks.

How do you come up with names and personalities for each character?
I don't really have a method to it. Usually when I see a character, if it's something I connect with, I can come up with personality almost instantly. Now if it's a character I design, it usually takes me a long time to get a personality.
