Snare shook his head a bit hesitantly, "I haven't really been up to anything lately other than the routine excursions for food and water. I enjoy it actually, it has become quite ordinary, but one thing I will never get used to, is the constant isolation." He admitted wearily, "It feels kind of lonely having no one to share your interests with, and it seems like I can't really accomplish anything great when I'm alone." He felt ashamed to be talking about this to her, the last thing he wanted her to see him as was weak.

The walk back to camp had gone nothing like she expected, but it only demonstrated that the task ahead would prove to be no easy feat. She wouldn't let his awkwardness, and his constant dodging of her questions silence her determination. She didn't even begin to wonder if she was taking this a tad further than needed. She just wanted to feel important, and to participate in something bigger than herself. "Is there something wrong?" She asked when she had realized they had stopped right in front of the entrance, she took his sudden rigidness for fear, and she assumed that he was afraid of the other cats. "You haven't been around this many other cats before, have you?"

Sandwhisker understood how he felt. Sure, she couldn't really talk to another kittypet about living in the forest, but she could talk to them about other stuff. He didn't really have anybody at all to talk to. She didn't think about Snare that often, but the few times she did, she assumed he was having a nice life, not a truly lone one. She gave him a sympathetic smile, pleased that he'd trusted her enough to admit this. "It seems we both have our social problems, eh? Any thoughts I had about living the twoleg place are gone. I couldn't possible live such a secluded life like you."

"Sure it's forbidden, but it's a stupid rule. As long as Rowanpaw is happy, and nobody is hurt, I really don't care," he concluded. "I mean, I understand why it's a rule, so that if she has kits she won't favor them over the Clan's welfare in general if it ever comes to that, but I believe she'd make the right choice. Of course, the rules are also there for those who aren't Rowanpaw, but still. It's a stupid rule," he repeated.

13 moons is a bit young to have mates. She could have a crush on Ross, and if Tiger wants, Ross could have a crush on her too, but I don't know about mates. )
