Story and/or anything else you want to share with us: Not really a "story", more of a random fact about me? I love hearing people get so excited about their oc's stories. It's one of the #1 easiest ways to make my day. I love hearing how excited they get over the tiniest idea they get, the newest character to be introduced, even the tiniest little background detail. I dont know why, it makes me happy seeing others get so pumped up about their thing they're working on. You go, bro. Kick that storys buns.

I also got my first Takekitsune! A species by BambooFoxFire on DA! I've been wanting one for a while and he finally got a batch up for sale with a gorgeous baby that I absolutely fell in love with! Meet Akihiko!

Personality: Akihiko is quiet, curious and friendly. He loves to see new things and is always curious about new creatures he meets, though he tends to be cautious and watch from afar for a while and is normally not the one to be the first to introduce himself. He tends to be quiet and doesn't say much, even around those he knows well. Other tend to learn to read his expressions and actions instead. He does seem pretty proud at time, always holding his head up and going wherever he pleases, even if it is somewhere he shouldn't or is not allowed to go. He is sneaky, tends to sneak into places a lot and loves to avoid others when they are looking for him, giving them a good game of hide and seek.

Additional Info: In his compact form he loves to nap in pipes, when others aren't looking, he'll sneak into empty smoking pipes left around and take a nap. He also likes to cuddle with other Takekitsunes. When they are already asleep, he'll sneak over and cuddle next to them. So if anyone wakes up with him next to them, that is normal.

Her name is Europa, named after one of the Galilean Moons. I chose the name because her father is bound to the Galilean moon, Callisto, so I named her after one of the other Galilean moons!

Geinkotsu: His design is amazing, I love the sash and colour scheme.

Tenmomentstill: Martinez was shot because what he was transporting an important data storage chip. He just happened to be the unlucky guy carrying it. He was mostly the same, more secure and trusting of people.

Mess is cute, and I love that idea for familiars. Anastazia seems really cool too, was there a particular reason (in canon or irl) for that spelling of her name? And that vampiric curse is awesome.

weegeestar: Holden started off as an kid who was burned in a horrible accident, was seperated from his family, raised by a group of assassins who tortured him to create the Perfect Invulnerable Assassin and he ran around being angsty and misunderstood and killing people. After many rewrites, the accident still happened, but he willingly left his family after family issues, got in with the wrong crowd, and became an assassin who's good at stealth but terrible at actual confrontations, is a complete coward with no loyalty to anyone but himself, and overall a kinda crappy person. In one draft he ends up dying, getting caught up in some weird ghost stuff, and haunting his gf, but I don't even remember how/why he died, lol.

seriar and rantes are cute, they're matesprites, yes? I don't remember much about homestuck but I like their personalities. leven and rhett are really cute too, how did they meet/become friends at first?

So I'm working on a quest, which is basically an interactive comic - like early homestuck was. So I'm forcing myself to focus more on plot than character development, and all decisions in the story will be made by the reader.

This was a basic sketch to try to work out designs/a possible quick art style, but I don't really like the look of it.


The premise is the idea of an 'abandoned' planet. An as-of-yet-unnamed planet was subject of a new scientific endeavour to colonize the first planet outside of the Earth's solar system, terraformed and originally populated by people wanting to be a part of history or just people wanting to take advantage of what was basically another homestead act. It was a popular tourist destination for a while, but over hundreds of years people found more resource-rich planetary bodies and things went downhill. Funding from the private corporations sponsoring the experiment was withdrawn, and interference on the planet made communications difficult with other people on the surface and interplanetary communication nearly impossible. Though they were self-sufficient in growing food and having some factories, they depended on other planets for any modern technology, and were mostly left behind. Violent criminals threatened and killed their way into controlling major resources, the weak government fell into small self-policing communities across the planet. The rise in crime led to even fewer traders willing to come to the planet, which made things worse, and they were essentially abandoned.

The Sheriff (right) grew up in one such community, a former capital and one of the larger groups, and has always been intent on trying to make things right as best as she could, but a severe injury and lack of modern medical care or actual doctors left the town without any formal law enforcement for a while. A small group of three people went on a personal project to try to bring help to the planet, The Deputy (left), their sister, and a doctor. They couldn't bring much in the way of resources, but are determined to try to help. Though The Sheriff has recovered from her injuries, during the down time the complete lack of opposition has lead to the gangs to increase their violence and attempts to take over the town and the few people resisting them.

The Deputy is the character controlled by the readers, so technically they could just shoot everyone if they want. <_< They're a bit naive and idealistic, and The Sheriff is extremely wary towards them and slow to trust. As of right now there are 12 supporting characters, at least one potential romance option, and the way the story goes will be entirely based on the readers' decisions. Currently I'm planning on only referring to characters as their title - 'The Barkeep', 'The Inkeeper', etc. though I don't know if I'll do the same with the villains.

Hi guys! I'm new to this site and specifically this club too so here's my introduction~ :>

Username: Zaokyi, feel free to nickname that any way that makes you happy!

Favorite Character: Long post incoming! I've had loooots of characters but I think I have 2 top favorites. I have a story that I've been workin on on and off for... how long now?? Man, at least 10 years if not more. Not sure that it will ever actually go anywhere but it's fun to play with! Two of the main characters are named Kae and Senji. I'll post a lil more about them once I get around to actually making some more digital art. The story they're from is basically set in a world where spirit-y spectral figures and normal people co-exist, & every so often someone is born who has a mark on them that signifies that they have more spiritual influence than others (i.e. when they're around, spiritual activity is heightened, more ~*~magical~*~ stuff happens, they can use spirit energy to fight, etc). The mark grows & spreads the more they use their abilities so eventually it isn't easily able to be hidden. Their abilities are in pretty high demand (by "good" & "bad" yada yada yada forces alike) so you don't necessarily want to be KNOWN for being marked... so anyway, Kae is one of these, ofc. She's super reluctant about it and runs away from her old life in her village & lives a simple life of secrecy for a couple years. She eventually gets ousted by Senji, a mercenary who was hired to find her. Somehow, some way they end up accidentally becoming friends, begrudgingly, and a plot ensues. There's lots more to it than that but that's them, in very general terms. :>

Kae is for the most part whimsical and funny, but more as a coping mechanism (so she doesn't really take anything seriously). She's impulsive and kind of prone to double standards (so she's all about justice, treating everyone fairly, being kind, etc. but in the same vein she can be very cowardly (ran away from her old life even though it hurt her family & kinda wrecked their lives) and can be selfish herself - she hates sharing her food, and other petty things like that!). At her core she's very kind and very emotional. Senji is distant, short-tempered, emotionally guarded and snarky, but knows how to manipulate people/be charming when he wants to (very perceptive & good at reading people). He's very devoted to what he believes in & always thinks he's right (even when he's absolutely 100% not), & is begrudgingly kind somewhere under his layers of gruffness. He's very loyal to people who he actually deems as being good. That's mostly it, those are my current favorite 2 babies!

Story and/or anything else you want to share with us: Umm, not much! If you read all that, thanks!! I'll probs share more tidbits of my characters/their story once I work on it and draw more... but I love character design & worldbuilding and can't wait to read more about other people's characters! I love to talk so y'all are welcome to PM me any time. I like all kinds of things.

Naranda ~ Kaiya is very pretty. I love how simple and true to the show her design is. You really raked in a lot of good art from the easter event. Also, Reika's anthro design is very cute. I love her shirt. And since I previous asked about Lush's species, I'm glad I got to see her complete design, those colours go together so nicely. Are you a fan of mammal/fish combos? Congrats on getting those two species OCs. I really love Akihiko's colours.
Also, as long as you don't post a ton of times each page your fine. Two post per page is nothing to worry about.

I really love my velcioraptor. He's such a niche rp joke, I barely get to use or bring him up though.

Endless Corruption ~ Please make sure to reply to others when you post even if it's just a quick thing like that. (in the past, things got super out of hand when that was allowed and people didn't have to reply) But, I'm glad you found out where those two had gone~ Had you sold/traded them off?

The Wolfe ~ Please make sure to comment at least 10 posts back. Anyway, congrats on getting those two donkey characters. DO you have any plans for them yet? Or were they just purchased since they have nice designs?

Harkness ~ I can give a bit advice with the plot planning is expect the readers to make decisions that can partially ruin what you have planned (in the D&D-ish game I play with friends this happens all the time). Even if you give them limited decisions they will find something weird to do.
What you have plotted out so far, sounds really interesting. I love that the decline in the planet was fairly slow (that's the impression I get from the brief explanation) and not a sudden huge loss of economic support from other planets. Maybe as you plot designs you can also try to tweak your quick art style to something more of your liking?

In canon, Anasazia's name is spelled that way because her parents wanted it to be unique.

Second to last group of sketches OTL. It's going right to left.

The deer skull guy is yet another ghost (I've been making ghosts for two stories and I'm winding up with a ton of them). He tends to hang out under streetlights just enjoying the night and watching people go by. The only reason why they haven't moved on is they are happy with how their ghost afterlife is going.

The next one is Nikolai (I drew him mostly to practice crying). He's a necromancer that lives in a country where only certain magics are allowed (necromancy isn't legal even though it's something your born with) and even the legal magics aren't allowed to be used in public. Even though he's been alive for a while, no one has figured out that he's a necromancer so he can continue his job as a doctor in peace.

The next one is a species, not a character. Though, certian ones are going to appear multiple times. They are still unnamed even though I love them so. pretty much, they are these spindly cats that appear out of nowhere and eat people. They aren't that scary in appearance before they try to eat you since they are about the size of a large house cat and cover most of their bodies in floating wings. I drew another one ,it sorta flashes so here's a link.



The next one is yet another ghost. He's a redraw of a sketch I made and I fell in love with the design so I'm keeping him as a character. He wanders a stretch of road and will talk to anyone that happens to be going the same way as him. He's just a chatty, lonely ghost that isn't sure if he really wants to move on.

The Book is considered an Original god in my OC universe. Original gods are the ones that were/are the very oldest gods created. Her nickname (THe Book) came from reapers having a pretty good idea there is a god giving them directions via a book they are giving. The books reapers have has the tasks they have to do listed, gives maps if asked (asked by writing down you need help), and answers some questions. When The Book isn't dealing with reapers, she's reading what they have written in their books (a good amount of them use it as a diary and she's a very nosy person). She's also the technical mother of Fate.

The next one is my small angel of death for my not messed up heaven that I still need to name. Azrael is a super happy and upbeat guy that enjoys cute things and soft clothing. He tries his best to see the best in everything and enjoy all the little things. His job is just to go from planet to plant making sure death is still going well. He's the boyfriend to a friend's angel OC that they still need to draw out.

The very last guy is Elwin. I'm not totally happy with his design so I'm going to change it the next time I draw him. Anyway, he's th adoptive father of Ross. He's a very guarded person that hates having to talk to people he doesn't know.

@tenmomentstill Your OCs looks very interesting, I love their designs. The one that really caught my eye though, is the Deer Skull Guy. His appearance is really cool, And reading about how he would just stand under streetlights and enjoy the darkness sounds like something I would do. Haha.

@thewolfe buying more characters, eh? I know the struggle, lmao. I have never actually owned a donkey, and the two you picked out look pretty cool. Do you know what you will do with them yet?
