Eaglepaw opened her eyes wide with astonishment. "Well still, you aren't allowed to go hunting, and you don't want your apprentice ceremony pushed back do you?" She meowed to the kit, trying to knock some sense into him. If he went out anyways she would blame herself.

"Plus I've been outside of camp before. I just don't go hunting. I go on walks all the time. And sometimes I even-" Burntkit stopped talking as he almost gave away his secret about Midnight.

Tilly wondered through the woods, she needed to find a bigger cat that could wake her mommy up! Staggering around on small paws, Tilly heard voices. She mewed, as loud as an exhausted kitten could.

"Find him, not kill him. And I don't really have a choice, Rowanflame would kick me out of the territory if I declined." Axel was extremely uncomfortable killing another cat, mainly because he'd never done it before. "I'll find him I promise, but I'm sorry I will not be the one to kill him." He admitted feeling almost shameful.

The she-cat nodded quickly, she did not wish for the murder to be killed, even though many would want to. She thought that no one deserved to die, no matter what they did wrong. "You always have a choice, I wouldn't let her kick you out, she has no power over me." The calico then looked up at him when he stated his last sentence. "I'm grateful that you'll help find him, but don't be shameful for not killing. Killing is not something you should praise yourself for, I don't understand the cats that boast about ending another cat's life. I wouldn't dare ask you to kill for me or anyone, I wouldn't ask you to kill at all." The small warrior said determinedly as she looked at him with her green eyes, which were glowing with the light of wisdom.

The apprentice then decided that a walk through the peaceful woods might help him calm down. The grey tabby then walked passed Burnkit and Eaglepaw before exiting camp, not long after he went deep into the forest he could've thought he heard a cry. "Anyone there?" The tom called out as he looked around for the source of the noise.
