IV. 2159.
"There has always been two clans" The Voice rings out across the desert, carried by the freedom of the evening wind. The air is cool, yet dry. It is the middle of the dry season; the rain isn't due for months. The Sun dips lower in the sky, and two figures are illuminated in outlines by the rays of the dying light.
"And there always will be" A Second voice replies, the edge of confidence and trust lining the essence of the very words, "Fenriri will not fall"
"And if they do?"
"The Desert is doomed forever"

*There are two clans. Xander and Fenriri. Xander Clan are based in the southern desert. The more 'Warrior' like of the two clans. They tend to have more Clan-Defenders than Prey Hunters, and are the clever Calikari. They are devious, sneaky, forceful and strong. But in the good aspects, loyal. Very, very, very Loyal, true to their clan.
Fenriri Clan is more in the Northern Desert. They are sleek, fast and quick on their feet, silent and sharp. In Opposites with Xander, they tend to have more Prey-Catchers than Clan-Defenders. Fenriri's are not very trusting.
Of course there are loners too. Usually doing what they do in the Centre Desert.
**Calikari have a few ranks. Each one has a different Function.
Learners.They are training to be Prey-Catchers or Clan-Defenders.They have either a feather in one ear or wooden armour on their legs, depending on what they are training to be.
Prey-Catchers have a feather tie by a thin piece of bark to their tail. They catch the food for the clan.
Clan-Defenders have a wooden mask - complete with their leg armour from being learners, that is. They protect the clan.
Healers. Usually one per clan- have a gemstone necklace, the string being a thin piece of bark. They are like the doctors of the clan - ready to step in if someone gets hurt.
Seconds are the Vice Leaders. There is only one per clan. They advise the leader - and are there if anything happens to the leader. They have a wooden band on their head with a sand teardrop.
Leaders are the leader. Making the decisions - leading the clan. If a leader dies they are replaced by their Seconds. Leaders have Silver pieces of precious metal around each paw. It is passed from leader to leader.
