[x]━Turning around to face kitty, Ravenpaw gestured towards the general area they were in with a flick of his tail. "So, we'll be hunting here..." he explained, feeling a bit awkward. I wonder if this is what being a mentor is like? "You can just kind of catch whatever. Don't eat it, though, since we're gonna take it back to the camp." He paused to cough awkwardly to fill the silence that would have been there otherwise, as he raised his head slightly as though it would further help him scent the air. "We can go to camp when we catch a good amount of prey," he said as he padded a few pawsteps farther to where he could scent a mouse. "And, um, be sure to stay quiet, since I don't know how the others would react if they saw you here."

Kitty nodded listening contently ready to hunt she sniffed the air and took a few paces forward she went into a hunting crouch wen she was a small bird on a tree root she took two ginger steps forward wen she snapped a twig the bird was alert and started to fly kitty raced at it and jumped her teeth got something but it wasn't meat it was a mouth full of feathers

   [x]━Ravenpaw stood in his place for a few moments, carefully observing the area around him for any signs of prey besides the obvious scent of mice. His ear perked upwards as he heard the slight rustle within the grass, about a tail-length away from him. Dropping to a hunting crouch, he carefully stalked towards it and was just about to pounce on it when he heard the snap of a twig, thereafter followed by pawsteps thudding at a quick pace against the ground. He instantly got up from his crouch, surprised, causing the mouse to run away in the process. He looked towards the direction of the noise, just in time for him to see Kitty get a mouthful of feathers rather than the actual bird itself. "You'll catch the next one," he called out to her as the she-cat wasn't too far away from where he stood.

   Afterwards, Ravenpaw caught the scent of a vole nearby. He dropped to a crouch once again, eyeing the prey and watching as it darted out from where it had been hiding. He pounced on it, with a swift bite to its neck to kill it quickly.

Kitty spat the feathers out of her mouth "I should hope so". She said as she sented a raven it was almost her size any actual warrior would know not to go after it but she wasn't one so she crept up on it and lept the rave flapped its wings lifting it and kitty up kitty panicked but she had to stay calm she kicked vigorously and then got her paws free and delivered a killing blow to the head the bird dropped and fell kitty landed on her feet standing by the bird that was her size
