Fernstar watched Berrypaw leave before turning back to Juniperfrost and rising to her paws. "Patrols will be doubled," she promised as she trotted down the slope at the side of the highledge and over to Threeleg's den. "Threeleg? Will Bramblewhisker be okay?" She asked the medicine cat, not wanting to lose her deputy so early on.

Threeleg smiled at his apprentice before hearing Fernstar's voice. He turned his head to look at her and nodded. "None of his wounds are too deep and I have patched them all up and given him some poppy seeds, so he should be fine." He mewed with a respectful dip of his head. "His shoulder is the worst, but it will still heal along with the others." Then he looked at his young apprentice. "Why don't you tell Fernstar who your mentor is now?" He suggested with a smile.

Juniperfrost followed Fernstar down the slope and across to the medicine den. She sat beside Bramblewhisker and touched her nose gently to his shoulder. "You will be fine." She promised him as she took her head away. The small she cat curled her tail over her paws. The medicine den was getting cramped, and sooner or later she would have to leave.

Sparrowpaw nodded. "I can understand. I hope Bramblewhisker heals soon. I don't want to be stuck with a substitute mentor for ages." He mewed, glancing at his mentor worriedly. "But he's the deputy, and if he can fight away a fox I'm sure he can recover from the wounds."

Ａｑｕｉｌｏ
Aquilo quickly followed after Bone, flicking his tail to Robin. "Did you find the fox?" He asked the younger cat as he ran beside him.

Ｂｏｎｅ
Bone looked at Aquilo and nodded. "Redbush promised to help us, but I also promised him half of the land once we were rid of the Clan." He explained as he ran.

Redbush left his set quickly as the scent of cat reached his nostrils. Once out, he ran through the trees until the scent of Clan was faint and he was out of their territory. He knew of a couple foxes that lived not too far from here and that owed him a favour. Most of his kin would help out after hearing they would be blessed with half the land.

Walking a past and front to the den entrance, he desiced at last to enter the den. Den was deep and smelled a fox. He entered deeper and deeper, tight den entrance ended to a empty nest 'Hmm! so it was there?' he thought, noticing that the nest splited to a two other entrances. He followed the other entrance and get back to a forest. Still at the Cloverclan's territory, but closer to the borders, where the fox scent dissapeared '..so the fox left?' he thought sitting down and looked at the part of forest where the fox scent has been.

Shadowpaw looked around the forest, eyes wide. She was scared. She wished that Bone would just come and save her from the darkness of the gloomy forest, and the darkness of reality. Thoughts of her family clouded her mind. They never wanted her.
