The tabby tom's tail trailed after him as he turned away from the other cats by heading right. There was some bright, green brush ahead, and he was sure that he'd most likely be able to find a rodent of some sort there. From the way that her eyes narrowed when she looked at him, he knew that he was in trouble. ''I thought that what I said was pretty self explanatory. What do you think it means,'' he asked nonchalantly as he stalked ahead. Cedarpaw heard a bird that was chirping in a nearby tree. It apparently hadn't been alerted to them yet. It honestly didn't surprise him because the creature seemed to be paying more attention to its song than anything else. ''Aren't we here so that we can hunt for the clan? Forget the whole thing, I'm going after a bird. You've climbed trees before, right Dewpaw,'' he asked as he tried to change the subject of their conversation. The classic tabby was tired out from the whole argument, so he lowered himself to the ground as he stealthily made his way over to the base of the tree.

She managed to keep her cool this time, and only her tail slowly lashed back and forth. "Of course I can climb." As a matter of fact, she was rather skilled with climbing. She watched him make his way towards the tree trunk, and noticed his target. She flicked her ears and turned the other way. "Good idea, let's hunt." She said, the undertone of her voice laced with sarcasm. She began padding away, going in a different direction. She sniffed at the air, focusing on the hunt instead of the tom.

Rowanflame blinked in surprise at his reaction. "So... you aren't angry? Upset? Confused?" he asked, shifting a bit uncomfortably in his position. This was rather... odd and astonishing. If his litter mate was to abandon him and run away, he would definitely not be as strong as Thornpaw was being right now. Was the tom hiding his feelings?
