She nodded, "I haven't taken on an apprentice since... Oh it's been so long that I can barely remember." She looked up to him again

Merasmus
He nodded and listened carefully
"So when you say that... How old are you, If I may ask?" he asked

Chiyo
"Old." She said vaguely. Not ready to tell people her real age, "Besides, don't you know not to ask a woman her age?"

Merasmus
He chuckled and nodded, smiling while looking away
"You're right.. of course. I'm sorry." he said and sighed
"You don't look that old.. anyways.." he broke the silence momentarily, looking over at her

Merasmus
"Anywhere.. A bench by a tree in the distance, perhaps?" He said and pointed to it, looking off at it before glancing back at her

Father Time
He chuckled and nodded
"I'm guessing that's what happens with domesticated wild animals." He said and smiled at Rewind
"Go say hello, Rewind.. She won't bite." He said and watched as the Raptor turned her head and stared at Carina
Then sniffed the air and instantly came forwards to nuzzle at HER hand

Carina
"Awh, he there bud!" She smiles, gazing down at the raptor. She rubs it's head allowing it to sniff her.

Father Time
He smiled and gently leaned on his cane while watching Rewind coo softly and enjoy the attention given from Carina
The raptor squeaked softly, and instantly changed size from a great dinosaur, to a small cat and hopped onto the shoulder of the girl
She squeaked again, only this time it was lighter now that she was smaller, and nipped at her hair with her small dinosaur teeth

Carina
Carina laughs softly as the raptor nips softly at her. She watches rewind, her smile lingering

She looked up at him, "Neither do you. But it's the eyes that tell all." She offered a small smile

Father Time
"I can tell she likes you." he nodded softly and smiled, watching them
While Rewind nudged her head and curled up around her neck like a scarf

"True.. If I told you my age would you be surprised?" he asked and watched her
Not many knew his age, and yet here he was, comfortable with telling Her his age
