Myers Briggs Type?: INFJ
Other?: i was a consistant INFP until I got into highschool. now that i've begun being critical of everything i work on and create (which is important if i want to get into a good university in the future), my last value has flipped. i also used to be 'assertive'. now i'm 'turbulent'. most of the values are 70%, but my max value is 91% Feeling. :>

Would also love to add that the Myers Briggs personalities are really helpful in creating outlines for original characters as well!! It helps me keep my characters varied so not everyone would be the same.
Even if say, both characters are extroverts, there is a lot of variation of what their ambitions, philosophies, romantic rel./friendships are like!

Hi there, I'm glad you joined! c:

Based on the 16personalities classifications, most of my close friends are diplomat (nf) personalities as well, although a couple are explorer (sp) and analyst (nt) types.

Most of my friends are introverted, since I'm more of an open person to anybody. Sometimes I don't even get along with extroverts at time, it really depends but my best friend is also an INFP and we get along amazingly.

Do any of you know anybody who most likely fit into the ambivert category instead of the introverts and extroverts?

my closest friend that i can click with is an ENFP, which is really nice. i find it difficult to click completely with other introverts as people really have to reach out if they want to get to know me. (i never usually initiate conversations first. that's the worst thing about my introvertedness haha) she's turbulent, too, which i think is an interesting mix since she is also a Perceiver. she's a perfectionist, yet flexible and an improviser. as a result, she's fairly prone to stress. ;u; i think her perfectionism is what urged me to a Judging type, which is funny since she isn't a Judging type herself.

Hi! I've taken the 16personalities test 4 times, now, each with a gap of 3-5 months in between. My results were INTP->INFP->ENFP->ENFP. Which one of these am I more? Or something entirely different? Could anyone help me?

    1. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances.
    No, none.

    2. You are with a group of people in a car, heading to a different town to see your favourite band/artist/musician. Suddenly, the car breaks down for an unknown reason in the middle of nowhere. What are your initial thoughts? What are your outward reactions?
Initial thoughts: Dang, I hope there's signal
Reaction: Sighing? I would be pretty calm. Probably try to comfort others if anyone is freaking out.

    3. You somehow make it to the concert. The driver wants to go to the afterparty. How do you feel about this party? What do you do?
I would wonder if any other friends are going to be there, but would tag along anyway.

    4. On the drive back, your friends are talking. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward reaction? What do you outwardly say?
Say nothing. Even though I would internally start arguing with my friend, it's better not to clash and create conflicts.

    5. What would you do if you actually saw/experienced something that clashes with your previous beliefs, experiences, and habits?
Try to understand what was going on and adapt to the situation, I think. Things happen in life!

    6. What are some of your most important values? How did you come about determining them? How can they change?
Friends, high grades (if I'm being honest), good self-image. I found that I tended to strive for these things, so. They change as things in my life get more important and less important. I guess it just depends on my current place in life.

    7. a) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else? b) If you could change one thing about you personality, what would it be? Why?
For some reason, I seem to be at least somewhat likable to people? I would be nicer to some others, though. That's caused me quite a bit of embarrassment in my life.

    8. How do you treat hunches or gut feelings? In what situations are they most often triggered?
I follow them most of the time. Triggered in tests, or important decisions (applications, schools, etc.)

    9. a) What activities energize you most? b) What activities drain you most? Why?
Talking with my friends energize me! I love being with them, and my entire mood just brightens when I'm having fun with them. Draining things would definitely be arguing with stubborn people. I honestly just get so frustrated when people can't or don't see my point of view.

    10. What do you repress about your outward behavior or internal thought process when around others? Why?
Usually, I hide how tired I am. I also keep certain thoughts about certain people in my head, because it certainly wouldn't benefit anyone if I said them out loud. I also don't talk about my feelings a lot, so I usually sit and brood until they go away.

I'm getting a very strong ExxP vibe from the way you answered your questions. Getting energy from talking with your friends is a common Extravert indicator and your flexibility and openness indicates being a Perciever, usually. I'm leaning toward ExFP based on the seeming intensity with which you feel and since on the tests you consistently scored iNtuitive my guess is ENFP. You should still look for a second opinion, though, since when I type people I use the four letters and not the functions as well, and also idk how accurate my typing is since before I've mostly done it in my head and not for the sake f actual typing.

Thank you for your analysis! I asked around my friends, they said I was more extroverted too haha. Since I got xNFP three times, I suppose that's what I am. Again, thank you!

definitely not intp haha! very very exfx. enfp sounds good to me, honestly. i can see a bit more Fi than Fe, and i dont think you use high Si or Ni (the second functions of ESFJ and ENFJ). could be esfp, but im leaning enfp.

xxx I don't personally consider 'ambivert' to be a real thing. On some level, everyone's an ambivert - the first four functions of anyone's personality are an even split with two introverted functions and two extroverted ones. Anyone you meet that's a well developed person will probably seem quite ambiverted because they know to rely on both sets of functions! That being said, I do have friends who I would have trouble pinning a definite intro or extro label on. I'd have to interrogate them B)

@Blitz & Burn If I get a bit more free time I'll be sure to have a deeper look at your answers compared to the functions, but at first glance I'd probably go with ENFP too

Actually I already figured out my type but I'm curious as to what the mods in this thread would type me as according to my replies to the questionaire thingy. I'll post a join form afterwards ;)

1. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances.
I do have chronic depression and OCD, both can be treated but not cured so it's basically a part of me. Oh well.

2. You are with a group of people in a car, heading to a different town to see your favourite band/artist/musician. Suddenly, the car breaks down for an unknown reason in the middle of nowhere. What are your initial thoughts? What are your outward reactions?
Outward reaction: Chill, listen to music while waiting for car to get fixed/someone else help pick us up/git taxi/whatever. Maybe try to make conversation if the people in the car are close to me.
Thoughts: Aw damn//We're gonna be too late//What are we gonna do//can we still get in if we come too late//Who should we call//Should I call or are you-//I swear if we miss this I am going to eat my own leg//ect

3. You somehow make it to the concert. The driver wants to go to the afterparty. How do you feel about this party? What do you do?
If I can hang with the band or rad fellow fans it's fine otherwise parties aren't really my thing.

4. On the drive back, your friends are talking. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward reaction? What do you outwardly say?
Inward reaction: Oh geez dude, why?
Outward reaction: Why do you think that?

5. What would you do if you actually saw/experienced something that clashes with your previous beliefs, experiences, and habits?
Talk about why they take the stance they do, the either be understanding if they have a reasonable explanation for what they think, if they dont they're an egg.

6. What are some of your most important values? How did you come about determining them? How can they change?
Honesty is one of the most important things, among loyalty. Had too many bad experiences in the past. Humor is good too, and being a bit of a skeptic. Idk fam.

7. a) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else? b) If you could change one thing about you personality, what would it be? Why?
I am a master at seeming calm when I'm happy/anxious/scared/excited. Thing is I just don't feel the need for unecessary things like screaming on a park ride or when meeting musicians cuz it's annoying everyone anyway and...adds nothing :d

8. How do you treat hunches or gut feelings? In what situations are they most often triggered?
I can never tell what my gut feeling is because I start to panic and get anxious and can't decide :(

9. a) What activities energize you most? b) What activities drain you most? Why?
a. Listening to music, games, chatting up my favourite people, making others happy/laugh
b. Work with other people, explaining things with my own words, sports, arguments

10. What do you repress about your outward behavior or internal thought process when around others? Why?
My mind is an incredibly direct rude butt so I have to sugarcoat everything to not hurt anybody. I'm actually a nice person but the first reaction from my mind...yeah I'm glad this is the part of me that doesn't talk out loud :d

I want to join the MBTI club.
    Username:
      ZeyDaan
Myers Briggs Type? (put unknown if unsure):
      ENTP - ENTJ (Flux on P / J)
    Other?:
During most of my high school life I was INTP / INTJ because of how I disliked people. Kinda broke out of a shell or two since then.
    smoothie

Gonna answer questions as well.

    1. Is there anything that may affect the way you answer the questions? For example, a stressful time, mental illness, medications, special life circumstances.
Used to be, the depression and what not. Now a days it depends on my mood mostly. Am I going to be answering the questions caculatoringly or am I going to be answering them how I see it?

    2. You are with a group of people in a car, heading to a different town to see your favourite band/artist/musician. Suddenly, the car breaks down for an unknown reason in the middle of nowhere. What are your initial thoughts? What are your outward reactions?
Check the situation and it's severity, check for car response. If I am in danger in my current location, remove myself and the car if it is safe enough to do so. Call for assistance from a tow truck or a break down mechanic and go from there. I'd be ticked though if it happened, but we gotta do what we gotta do.

    3. You somehow make it to the concert. The driver wants to go to the afterparty. How do you feel about this party? What do you do?
Depends on my relationship with the driver. I mean the car got toasted and unless the driver was a mate, I wouldn't go because honestly it seems off. But if I do trust them I'm in.

    4. On the drive back, your friends are talking. A friend makes a claim that clashes with your current beliefs. What is your inward reaction? What do you outwardly say?
Personally that person is entitled to their pov and beliefs. Unless it's a topic which is iffy, in that case I would request for it to stop, otherwise I let them praddle on.

    5. What would you do if you actually saw/experienced something that clashes with your previous beliefs, experiences, and habits?
Depends on what it is. The most severe I would go to is remove myself from the situation or confront if I have any right to get involved.

    6. What are some of your most important values? How did you come about determining them? How can they change?
Honesty, communication and morals. Determine them through trust. They can change when one of these three aren't met to and it leads to losing trust.

    7. a) What about your personality most distinguishes you from everyone else? b) If you could change one thing about you personality, what would it be? Why?
      A) I ain't afraid to call it bluntly. With vulgar language to emphasize the point depending on the situation.
      B) I wouldn't change anything, kinda like being extroverted rather than introverted.

    8. How do you treat hunches or gut feelings? In what situations are they most often triggered?
Depends if I want to caculate the probability of the gut feeling or wing it. I'd do one or the other.

    9. a) What activities energize you most? b) What activities drain you most? Why?
      A) Being productive and actually contributing towards something (Aged care career for example is extremely rewarding.)
      B) Not being productive because I feel like a slug and lazy.

    10. What do you repress about your outward behavior or internal thought process when around others? Why?
I can be blunt and lewd, though respectful as well. If someone ticks me off I'll let you know about it but it takes a lot to do that unless you purposely push buttons. I contribute into conversations for reasons unless I am air-headed at the time in which case can put me being seen as hypocritical at times.

I've been walked on most of my life, and am kinda sick of it so how I think inside is what comes outside. I am more verbal than typing which is a blessing.
I am on mobile.
Current mood: Bachelor’s in psychology and having Aged care induced PTSD? What do you mean?
Least I helped change legislation for the better. Thank you aged care workers. ❤️
