You don't understand. She wanted to say those words to him, but bit her tongue. She rested her head on her paws, closing her eyes. "I thought you knew how I could get." She smirked, responding in a humor filled way. If you're not going to get it in any other way then what's the point of trying to be serious? Her eyes opened a smudge, slits as she glanced at Cedarpaw, before closing them again. She wished she could understand herself at the moment. She felt a sickening pain inside that she couldn't shake.

"Hunting." Hollytail replied. "And your eyes reveal what you are thinking. Maplepaw is very noble, but will not show it. She attacks with pride. Anger can control her though."

Rowanflame shrugged, only half listening. He thought Maplepaw had too much of a temper, and he didn't want to argue with Hollytail over such a simple thing. Instead, he changed the topic, "Hollytail, when do you think Thornpaw will return?" the tom asked, flicking his ear as he glanced over his shoulder at the entry of camp. Swiftstar stood a bit behind the tom, disagreeing with Hollytail but respecting her thoughts and opinions. Anger could control Maplepaw, she agreed. She wasn't sure if the apprentice was quite noble or loyal yet... she had clawed her leader, after all. Not even the most ruthless warrior of her Clan would do such a thing. It showed that Maplepaw was not fit for Clan life and she obviously didn't know the definition of loyal, hence Flamekit and her were arguing about it before she left, running away from her problems. Regardless, she knew that Maplepaw was kind at heart and could be noble if she tried.

"He should be back soon." Rolling her eyes. Hollytail hated things about her kits. It was annoying. Well the bad things at least.

Rowanflame blinked in surprise. "Hollytail, why do you have such a bad attitude?" he asked, a bit hurt and annoyed at the same time. He wondered what Swiftstar was thinking, she seemed to be awfully quiet... I bet she feels awkward...

The tabby tom was tiring of the situation rather quickly. ''I don't get it, Dewpaw. How can you always be so serious about everything? It drives me crazy,'' he said in a soft, frustrated voice. His ears pricked forward as he looked towards the camp entrance. He'd already put the fish that he'd caught on the prey pile, but it looked like there needed to be a little more prey. ''Maybe we can go hunting again a little later. You can pick where we go as long as it's nowhere near water. I've swam enough for one day. We could pick a few other cats to come along,'' the tom's pelt was still damp, and tuft of fur stuck up at odd angles all over his pelt. He knew that he'd be laughing if he got a good look at himself right then.

She refused to respond; the grey and white she-cat had always been more serious than others her age after her parents died. It was something that happened to help her grow up quicker and be able to take care of herself. "Yeah sure." She looked towards the camp entrance, already thinking about a good place to hunt. She decided she might ask Foxpaw; the tom had even sleeping the day away, and he was really the only other cat that she was friends with.
