You were walking through the park, when suddenly you noticed a well-worn book laying in the grass. It seemed to have belonged to someone, and looked old and well cared for. They must've lost it.

On the front of the leather book was the word 'Diary'. You look on the back of the book and the name 'Erin' was scrawled on it in black sharpie.

You decide to read the entries in the diary. You want to learn more about this person, they may lead an interesting life, as the book seemed to be filled with writing.

You open the book and start reading.

My daddy got me a dyrie diary for my birthday! I'm going to write all about me in this book!

My name is Erin. I am 6 years old now. I like deer, flowers, and playing with my brother. And I really hate bugs!!!!!!

Well I got to go now. Me and my brother are going shopping!!

Shopping was really fun. I got some new clothes and a deer toy!

My brother is helping me with my grammer. grammar. I know I'll get better one day!!!!
Nothing else happened today. I'll be back when something fun happens!! See ya!

Oh my goodness. I can't believe I found this book! It was under my bed the whole time!

Well, I'm ten years old now. That means its been four years since I've seen this book!
It's really dusty, I'm going to go clean it now.

You read the next few pages which were nothing interesting- it just talked about bugs and deer- and skip to a dog-eared page.



I did very well on the job. It was wonderful.

I just wish I didn't have to find out the news when I got home.

He died. My brother is dead. Stationed out in Afghanistan, ambushed by terrorists. Died saving a friend.

I don't know what to do, I feel empty.

I found his old Nintendo DS and all of his games. I recall Animal Crossing, I think it was my favorite back then. I'm gonna boot it up and check it out.

He's so rich on this game! Over 100 million bells? Wow.
I've been roaming around the town, it's beautiful. I remember why I love this game so much. I'll continue the game, for my brother.

I made the most fabulous accessory today!
I've always felt a bit... naked, I guess you
would say, I needed another addition. Well,
I love shamrocks, so I made a shamrock
crown! I think it matches my poncho
gorgeously!

It was quite challenging to make. Clovers
are so delicate, it's hard not to rip one of
the leaves off!

Oh dear. I've been thinking about this for a while, but I've decided that I want to get a Triskele tattoo. Right on my left flank.
I absolutely love Celtic culture! The library has a good number of books on the topic. I'm currently reading Hounded, by Kevin Hearne. Wonderful book.

Anyways, getting a bit sidetracked! I'm intensely afraid of needles, I'm not sure how it would go at the parlor's. I have an appointment set up this afternoon, I should get going now. Wish me luck?

Wow!! I am really excited right now!

I got the tattoo, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! The artist told me that a tattoo around the hip area doesn't hurt as much as say, your face or chest area. Wonderful news for me, it didn't hurt that bad at all!

Currently the tattoo is hidden by a bandage. I can't wait to reveal it!

Holy cheese, I've made a friend.

I've made my first friend! Granted, it was a rocky greeting, but I think we hit it off pretty well.

Her name is Tonbo. I saw her today while reading a book at the checkout desk, she seemed... lost. Sad. She was sitting in one of the library's too-comfy chairs looking off into space.

For some reason I wanted to be her friend. I knew the look on her face, I used to see it every time I looked in a mirror. She was hurting, and I wanted to help her.

Somehow I managed to confront her. I was shaking, gosh I still can't believe I made a friend! She hesitated a bit when I asked to be her friend, but she looked grateful and understanding.

Wow. She also seems to live around these parts, so we'll see each other a lot. I can't wait to see Tonbo again.
