Inu's bright red eyes flutted open as she stood up and took a quick stretch, taking in her surroundings, she was still in the burrow. She took up her newly renewed energy to go up to the surface. Inu took a deep sniff of the air and sighed, such a calm morning it was. She shook off her glimmering white fur and stood up facing the glorious sun to sunbathe.

Will was first up, and excited, he quickly ran out of the den quickly sniffing everything in sight. Hyper as always, the little fellow stood up to sunbathe, but walked around the burrow to make sure nothing threating was near. After triple checking, the excited warrior stood up again to face the sun and warm up.

Lobo sneezed a little at the small wind gusting over. he groomed his fur then climbed a small bush nearby. vegitation is rich during the spring, he smiled and enjoyed the lush green surrounding him. Lobo searched the skies for any hawks or other big birds, none. he scanned the land front and back, he stopped when he saw Inu. he stared for a minute, but shook himself and continued searching for any danger. everything is all clear.

Poison turned to Will elegantly and said, "Have you seen those Flamez meerkats lately? They think that we're weak; we'll let them know otherwise, won't we?" A sinister smile crept onto her face, but, realizing that Will might see through her kind disguise, she quickly replaced it with a sweet one. "And how are you today? Have you asked Xant to come on the midday foraging trip yet?"

Ready to get on with the day's activites Inu looked around to make sure there were no rival meerkats and then looked upward to check for any Martial eagles or hawks, again there was nothing. Inu took one last sniff of the fresh air and set off, making lead calls to make sure her mob was following, food was going scarcer by the minute, so they had to make the most of the day.

Will turned to his leader and smiled "No ma'm, I haven't seen them around lately." He said politely and took another look upwards to look for any danger. Will turned his head back to his leader "Im good, and I haven't, I will go tell him right away!" he said giving a slight bow and disappeared inside the burrow to wake up Xant.

Poison sniffed. This one, Will, seemed obedient enough. She looked upwards for danger; just because she was a dominant female didn't mean she was safe. Seeing nothings, she continued lounging on her rock, soaking up the warm sun's rays. She sighed, realizing that a small mob would be useless-- she needed to have pups, and soon.

Llira, meanwhile, was sitting just inside the den. She felt the wind as Will rushed by, and nodded at him. She sighed, making up a story about a hawk and a meerkat falling in love in her head. She had always made up stories, ever since she was little. Poison, however, thought they were nonsense.

Lobo followed Inu as she gave the signal. he followed the mob but also checked his surroundings. standing up every so often, he's able to keep up with the moving mob. he checked the skies again and saw two eagles circling farther away from them, they must have found some food there, he thought, feeling nervous, he began to chatter as a signal to be cautious and extra vigilant.

Inu instantly looked up and saw the eagles, her eyes widened as she told herself that if the eagles came any closer they would have to dash for cover. Inu finally drew her eyes away and started foraging, sniffing the ground for any scents of bugs, nothing as usual. She sighed and almost missed the scent of the beetle. Instinctively, she began digging until she managed to reach the hard to get bug.

Will disappeared into the burrow to look for Xant and the others.

ignoring his hunger, Lobo watched the eagles from the ground, only climbing up a bush to see if their are any land predators then its back to the ground again. he foraged for a little but remained extra vigilant of the enemy's above. he felt relieved when he saw them dip down and disappeared in the lush green area. he continued to forage.

The Zirez Tribe

Xant jumped down from the tree in which he was sitting in; he'd been up for hours. His new habits made him restless at night and yawning during his day post as a Sentry. He knew he would have to stop sleeping in the day, but he didn't know how. He was afraid that someone may get injured by his acts; attacked by an eagle while he was napping, for example.
Eying the sky, he remembered the birds he had been watching all morning. They were still getting closer and closer, but still out of reach of their prey. I should probably go find Poison. He crawled over to the scent of the leader, his belly rubbing against the soft sand beneath him. His pelt was sheltered under a thick layer of sand, and he tried not to get sand in his eyes. Catching sight of Poison, he made sure he wouldn't interrupt anything before he approached. His head bobbed down in a quick bow, and his voice echoed through the windless plain. "Poison? The birds are getting closer to us, thought I'd tell you in case you didn't already know."

Poison looked at Xant and nodded. "Ah, yes. I was looking for you; all of us, except Llira, of course, are going to go on a foraging trip later today." after saying this, she licked her lips in anticipation, imagining the crunching of crickets between her teeth and the small amount of moisture that trickled down your throat after every bite you took of a fat, juicy worm.
