I wonder if the animal egg hour will be this year? Any CS veterans remember what I'm talkin about? 8D


(new-er players- in a nutshell, it was that last year there was an hour dedicated to only animal eggs- and you the user could activate it on your account at any time)

It was 2014, actually ^^
The issue in that year seemed to mostly be that not as many eggs were given out initially, plus there was a much larger number of eggs compared to previous years. The highest we usually got for new eggs was 10, but in 2014 the event gave us 18 (!) new animal eggs to collect.
People were having trouble getting them at the rate they were given out in banners, so we got to vote on whether or not there should be an "animal egg hour".

We didn't get to do this again in 2015.

thought so! I was trying to look in the old news to see if it was mentioned- because I remember it was- I just remember it was 2014 or 2015 tbh. I have not too great of memories, but I just somehow remember animal egg hour ^_^

It is extremely unlikely, and here's why.

Animal egg hour was brought in for 2014, but not in 2015. There would be an inconsistency if it was brought back again and really wouldn't make sense. The main reason why it probably won't be brought back though, is because of the sheer number of animal eggs that were present in 2014. It made it VERY difficult to get them all because there were so many, and there weren't enough in circulation. There was a whopping 18 animal eggs that were to be collected in 2014 compared to the 6 that could be collected in 2015, 2 very different numbers. Animal egg hour was probably introduced because it was so hard to collect all those eggs, so it was introduced to get more into circulation so they could be easier to trade for.

There have only been 6 animal eggs this year, which is the same number as last year and animal egg hour didn't happen, so it probably will not be returning unless a lot of animal eggs were to be released just like in 2014.

I'm still missing a majority of the older ones since they're hard to find nowadays, but I have most of them from 2013 and later since I've participated in all of the egg hunts since I started on CS.
I somehow managed to miss the existence of this one for three years though???

What's sadder is that the counterpart was from the month I joined, whoops.
