the night before, we had been talking over the phone, through text. i was begging him to come to the festival because i knew it might be my last chance to see him. he gave no certain answer, though at the end of our conversation, he said "I'd come back for you."

i was at some type of festival- it was night time and i was walking alone down the pathway. he comes up to my left side, and i say "(his name), you came!" he just says "shhh." and snakes his arm around my waist. i jumped a bit at his touch, and looked up at him with a surprised expression, but he just smiled ever so slightly and traced a circle along the small of my back. i soon started to lean into his warmth as we continued to walk along through the festival. i closed my eyes momentarily as we continued walking, and then we started heading for the waterfall. people passed by, but they didn't matter to me, i didn't think anything of them- i was focused on him. when we got to the pathway to the waterfall, i saw my mother coming down the path. his arm pressed tighter against me for a moment before he let go, though not frightened by my mother's reaction. she stared him down, not even bothering to look at me.

basically she was telling him he knows he can't be with me and that he shouldn't lead me on, and he said "don't you remember what i said last night? i told her that i would always come back for her." at the mention of always, i averted my gaze downwards, surprised at his words. by now we were on the bridge by the waterfall, and my mom and him were still talking about how we couldn't be together. he of course was angry by this realization, but refused to believe it fully. "we can make it work." he yelled, before crossing his arms on the railing and putting his head down. suddenly my dad appeared and said, "don't you remember 2015? or how about 2014, even 2013?" he looked away, as if trying to remember. "ah so you've pushed them out of your memory. well how about i remind you."

and then i woke up. ;n;


he was wearing black jeans and a green + grey hoodie. we were older than now, maybe sixteen or seventeen. this dream was in first person, which is unusual for me. there was also some anime character preforming, don't ask me why. cx

evelyn is quite an odd character, no one really knows the real
her. inside she is timid and reserved- she dislikes who she is an
d doesn't really connect with herself. she feels lost almost, like s
he's been living the wrong life all this time. so what does evelyn
do about it? she puts on a fake aura, disguises herself to be so
meone she's not. people around her get to see outgoing, bubbl
y evelyn, not the quiet, distant girl she really is. she has a lot
of people who call her a friend, but she knows they don't like h
er for who she is, they just like who she made herself be. and
now eve can't really retort back to her original self. honestly, s
he doesn't even know who her normal self really is any more.
