The thing is, when it comes to Tumblr posts or any other MBTI posts is that most of the ones I see are in the sake of humour, like which type would get whacked out at a party first or which type would quit school fast and etc. But the ones you posted above seem true to me. xD

☁xxx Pretty much what smofir. said, I don't usually take the tumblr posts too seriously. Although if anyone has any MBTI blogs to follow, I love those posts anyway cx
For INTPs, we're always stereotyped as having brilliant ideas but being awful procrastinators.

Myers Briggs Type?: INFJ
Other?: I sometimes switch between the other NF personalities (Diplomats) but I'm mostly INFJ.
*waves to all fellow INFJs and all other personality types*

Would also love to add that the Myers Briggs personalities are really helpful in creating outlines for original characters as well!! It helps me keep my characters varied so not everyone would be the same.
Even if say, both characters are extroverts, there is a lot of variation of what their ambitions, philosophies, romantic rel./friendships are like!

Myers Briggs Type?: INFP
Other?: I expected that NF's would be heavily overrepresented on CS but I didn't expect to see the NT's also so well represented. Just thought I'd throw that out there after seeing the poll results so far (NT 22 ST 2 NF 29 SF 4)

Um hey guys I have a question about dividing the types into temperaments. For the sensing types, I notice some people divide them into SP's and SJ's, while others (like whoever put up the poll) divide them into ST's and SF's.
Why is this only true of sensing types? Unless there are people who divide NJ's and NP's that I just haven't seen? What's the difference? Do the different systems have names? Why do some people seem to get so angry about it?
On a different note, most sites about the MBTI/Jungian psychology mention the functional stacks, but I did see one site that went into incredible detail about why functions shouldn't be considered and at some point I also saw a video comparing the idea of functional stacks to the way early physicists tried to explain planetary motion before accepting the heliocentric model. On the other hand, sites that talk about stacks, at least the ones I've seen, don't talk about proofs for functional stacks or anything like that, and I was wondering if anybody here could shed some light on perspectives on this issue other than "Functional stacks don't exist!!!!!" and "Your functions are Fi Ne Si Te".
Sorry for rambling a bit.
Judging and perceiving describe how someone thinks and feels so I have mainly seen people divide into NF/NT/SF/ST. Doesn't mean other ways are wrong. Also I did mention functions on the first page and personally I believe they exist and help explain a lot about MBTI.

I wonder if anyone here has observed which Myers Briggs personality types they generally go along with? (and/or don't go along with?)
Based on the 16personalities classifications, most of my close friends are diplomat (nf) personalities as well, although a couple are explorer (sp) and analyst (nt) types.

☁xxx Oh definitely! As an INTP, NFs are my kryptonite. Especially INFPs. You might have even heard of the whole INTP x INFJ "golden pair" thing, though while not really true, it's quite fascinating!!
My best friend is an INFP and I suppose it works so well because we both have that Ne-Si, but they have better knowledge of their own feelings, which helps me by opening up another angle to look at problems with. Hopefully I do the opposite for them lol!!

Myers Briggs Type?: INFJ
Other?: i was a consistant INFP until I got into highschool. now that i've begun being critical of everything i work on and create (which is important if i want to get into a good university in the future), my last value has flipped. i also used to be 'assertive'. now i'm 'turbulent'. most of the values are 70%, but my max value is 91% Feeling. :>

i've noticed that i get along exceptionally with xNFP's. my friends all took the myers-briggs test and all of them except two scored either an ENFP or an INFP. my other two friends are ISTP and INFJ, respectively. in that social group, i find that i can relax, be sillier, and basically my INTJ self. though i have a hard time comforting my ENFP best friend when she's upset (i can't help but be one of those people who have a "get over it/hardships happen all the time/reality sucks" mindset), i get along wonderfully with the diplomat types.
