Ashheart looked over at Oliver, a faint smile crossing his face. Hev was glad that he was joining the clan. Even as a kit he could tell he was a good cat. He will make a fine warrior.

The littermates trotted out of camp, alert for signs of prey. Blackpaw took the lead at first, but once Sandpaw sped up he dropped back a little, knowing how she could get. He smiled to himself, his large ears swiveling at each sound. Sandpaw's nose twitched, and she lowered her muzzle to the ground. Her tail flicked up and she abruptly halted, alert. Blackpaw parted his jaws, wondering why she had stopped. He scented unfamiliar cats somewhat nearby, and glanced at his sister. The two apprentices were oblivious to the brown and white tom that was hiding in the bush near them...

Iceheart glanced over at Emberpelt nervously, "I would like a shift with Oliver if that is still okay with Emberpelt." She glanced at the kit fondly.

Hawkflight looked around at the cats at the gathering and closed his eyes. This clan is just how it needs to be, but then why does he feel something is wrong? He shook it off and glanced back at his leader.

Emberpelt nodded and looked at her "of course that's okay!" She looked at her kindly and looked back at Galestar then Oliver. She thought and smiled.

Emberpelt trotted over to Galestar and purred "thank you Galestar" she bowed her head and purred sweetly. "Oliver!"
