lovin' the sig !! the green borders, little text and background of
the panda really pulls the whole thing together. although the m-
iddle part is a bit of a wip, I love little text boxes and the little
blurb about you <3 It's small, and short which I absolutely love.

@grey; i gave you a review on sig respect, and i definitely stand by all i said. the sig is very simple, but very pleasing to the eye. i love is a lot and its impressive you can pull off something so small, without it looking empty. its also very cool how you managed to line up the word & skull with the image above c:

@kristen; glad to see you back! i think you discussed any issue i might have seen in the sig (mostly the bits about image quality; i definitely feel your pain with that one). i like the organization of each little text area (i really like how you specify who the character is!). you lined up your different fonts perfectly, which makes the quote very easy to follow. i dont mind the length of it, since all the words are important c: its fun how the images rotate as well; i love doing sigs like those!

@maow; i didnt discuss it when you sent it to me, but i like the form a lot! its simple and easy to read and includes all the necessary information without being ridiculously long (which seems to be a problem i have myself, so im very impressed). the little touches of red throughout add to it very nicely as well.


im looking for some feedback/critique on my own sig too. the layout i dont like as much as my one before, but i like how the edits turned out (i guess that balances things...?) im curious to see what yall think c:

@grey - I really, really like your sig. Mostly the quote is great, but the gif and skull picture fit it surprisingly well. Plus, the monochrome scheme is nice. Plus it all lines up nicely.

@Kristen - Only negative thing I have to say is that the image on the right looks a bit pixel-y and odd. Other than that, it's really nice, and the rotating GIFs are cool. Plus, the little bio of the character is nice, I know I often end up wondering who characters in people's sigs are.

Well, I just made a new signature. Not exactly sure how much I like it yet, probably still going to tweak it a bit. I'm still relatively new to coding, so it's not extremely fancy, and a bit different from what I've done before. So, opinions/critique?

@grey, your signature is very simple yet pleasing to the eye.
i love how the lines and transparent skull line up with the picture,
and the quote is hilarious. i really love the gif as well, and the font.
it looks great as it is, but may i suggest adding a bit more? i usually
like when people give a bit about themselves and a few links, but
i also am a sucker for simple signatures. great job. c:

@gods, wow, i really love your new signature, i love the color
scheme that you tend to almost always use, lol.
the font for suddenly and focus is very cool, and the eye
instantly goes over to that section, not your bio though...
but it still looks great! i love the gifs and borders and how you
placed the quote.

@aliria, i have a bit of ocd, and the march gifting challenge
thing at the top is really bugging me, but other than that it
looks absolutely wonderful! i honestly hate criticizing others
signatures, but i'm only doing it to help you, not to be mean. c;
the fonts you used are pretty cool, and i like the color. i love how
the word usable is placed out. overall, it looks really nice.

@gods it's really pretty, as usual! I love your signature, the layout is simple, but I still think it's pretty. Sometimes I find {when I do it at least} it's hard to balance complex signatures and they end up looking a bit 'off' I guess, but I think this is perfectly balanced; everything about it compliments every other aspect and it result in a very pleasing to look at signature! Greyscale/B&W sigs are my favourite, and this is no exception. :3 As I'm sure you already know, your image edits are stunning!


@Aliria I really like your signature, it's so unique - I've never seen anything like it! I love the layout, it's very pleasing on the eye and follows the natural eyeline to it's conclusion - I've seen some signatures with text that go a little bit all over the place and this really works in my opinion. It seems well balanced to me - I love the way you used the images of the characters!

Unfortunately I struggled to see the yellow writing but I think it could be because of the CS Theme I'm using?
Overall, it's a really great sig, and if it's your first - you're going far!

So I'e had the same siggy for a while now, and I want to make myself a new one. Any theme suggestions? Topics I'm interested in are pretty wide, so I need help narrowing these down: Warriors, SAO (Sword Art Online), Nature, cats, animals in general, Greek mythology, and plants. It'd really help me if I could get a specific theme from some of these topics c: Please PM me any suggestions so the thread doesn't get spammed

horribly late to the party, but im here to critique once in a while!!

aliria, i love the layout form! it's very unique, and shows hints of your
personality. i can see that you are into a fandom and one of your
most favorite colors [ based on inference ] for usage is yellow! th
e yellow for text doesn't match, as it's on the more green - yellow
side and is hard to read, but you can improve on that. i may or ma
y not suggest some white in there to basically bring more "vibrant"
ness to your signature. i like the slim crops of the images, it's a gr
eat placement and doesn't subtract from the theme. however, seei
ng there is some blue i nthere, i might also suggest blue in the col
or scheme to balance everything. i also suggest borders or bars, a
type of seperation line. the 'usable' part is longer than the actual
height of the other part of the signature, so?? overall, though, it's
quite fascinating and unique, as the layout. i can suggest to put t
he march gifting challenge in the same part as all your other text,
the middle where it says - Aliria - Nerd - etc. the fonts are really
cool and look "tech-y" which matches your quote btw c:

gods, i love how you centered it, it makes me have a good
feeling and pleases my ocd. i absolutely LOVE the borders and how "smo
oth" they are! the sizing of them is PERFECT and aligns with everything.
the gifs are so cool, and the fonts as well. it's very unique, and it has a
dangerous, static feeling, like the gifs! i really like the smol smol bio, i
t looks VERY cute! the symbols as links are really cute as well and stand
out!

grey. it's very simple, but pleasing to the eye. most signatu
res require alot of "pizazz" and symbols and all, but you really.. just... m
astered the key of simplicity. i love how it's centered, again, pleases my
ocd. the gif matches the quote and contributes to the color scheme as bl
ack and white. the skull thing.. looks marvelous!! i like the technique of
dropping the big letter, and really, everything was placed well.

@leda; thank you for the feedback! im glad the borders worked out; i tried using some symbol ones at first but they didnt line up, so i ended up using images :')

@chrys; i agree, i often have troubles balancing more complex sigs too! (maybe thats why so many of mine end up so small haha) thanks for the feedback!

@storm; yeah i deff tend to lean towards using monochrome themes. im a fan of black ones especially :') (tho sometimes i do blue...) i also noticed the lack of attention drawn towards my bio (good to know its not just me), tho in this case i wanted the focus to be on the edits, so hopefully its fine.

@aliria; like other have said, the yellow text is a bit hard to read. the outlined text looks great, and i think the font choice really suits the sig! i like the images of rin & len you used, and how the backgrounds are plain so the focus is only on their faces. i like the organization of the quote, since it makes the text easy to follow! the march gifting part stands out a bit, but i think its still a nice addition to have. if there was a way to blend it more with the sig, itd be perfect c:

This is what your sig looks like to me. The third column is pushed down below the others. However, I think what is visible looks really nice. I love the colors and think they work really well with the quote and GIF.
