Link to Dog's Page: ZCK Wolf Heart 'Axel'
(Completed) Task #1- Axel's first time training was at 8 weeks, as with all of Zamoro Creek's huskies. He was always an energetic puppy, so we had expected some difficulty training. However, Axel surprised us all after the first session. The beginning was rough. Axel did not want to focus. He only wanted to attack the ankles of our trainer every time she took a step. Once he realized that this was not a game, however, he began to do much better. Our trainer reported him as attentive and cunning. He learned the basics with ease, and was often able to repeat them upon command. Once the harness was put on, Axel began to act up again. He rolled and chewed, trying desperately to get the nylon harness off. However, he eventually gave up and accepted his fate. The trainer ran around with Axel a bit to get him used to moving in the harness. Eventually, the pup didn't realize that it was there. In later sessions, we would add a bit of weight for him to drag around while running, and then move on to teach him sledding commands and ques. Axel grew up to be a very obedient and trustworthy lead dog.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Link to Dog's Page: ZCK King of the Wild 'Nanook'
(Completed) Task #1- Nanook was always a good puppy. He was one of the largest pups in his litter, but he was also one of the quietest. He grew to be a loyal pup, as well as intelligent and curious. We had high expectations for his first training session, and he passed them with flying colors. Nanook's first training began with the basic commands, which he readily performed and learned. Our trainer was quite astonished by how quick Nanook was able to catch on. It didn't take long before he was deemed ready for the harness. Unlike many of our other pups, Nanook did not bite at the harness or try to remove it. He accepted the new equipment, and instead focused on chasing a toy as our trainer allowed him to play and move with the harness. We decided to add a small amount of weight to the harness for him to pull around. He accepted the extra burden, and continued to play as though nothing was there. Our entire staff had a fun time watching the eager pup drag around the weight. Eventually, our trainer decided to call it a day. Nanook would go one to become a strong and quick lead dog for Zamoro's sprint team.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Link to Dog's Page: ZCK Blue Blood 'Ezra'
(Completed/Incompleted) Task #1- Ezra was one of the finest pups that Zamoro has ever trained. But do not be fooled by his current obedience: Ezra was once a handful of energy and rebellion. As a pup, Ezra was jumping from wall to wall. He seemed to never sleep, and continued to play and run about with all of the other dogs. Usually, his antics would annoy our older huskies, so they would give him a nip or two to show him some manners. Prior to his first training, Ezra was only aware of two things: Axel was a big dog and did not take kindly to annoyances, and the treats were carried in the black bag around the trainer's waist. As soon as training began, Ezra was only interested in the black bag. It took a while, but he eventually submitted to learning the basics. He was a very intelligent pup, but also very stubborn. Once the harness was put on, all of Ezra's focus vanished. He rolled for nearly and hour, trying to free himself. When that didn't work, he ran in circles, chasing the harness as he usually chases his tail. Eventually he gave up, but he was quite tired after his battle with the harness. We removed it, hoping that his next training session would be a better one.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Link to Dog's Page: ZCK Silver Bells 'Sindri'
(Completed/Incompleted) Task #1- Sindri was always a rebellious, spunky pup. The young gal held a strong curiosity that could not be tamed easily. So when the time for training came for Sindri, we knew that there may be some issues with curbing the young pup. Our trainer was unable to keep her attention at first. She would glance at the treat, but as soon as she had to perform a trick to obtain it, Sindri lost interest and went to sniff at a spot on the ground, or find a twig to run with. Eventually, our trainer figured out how to keep the pup's attention. She made a game out of training. Sindri responded well to multiple objects of praise, be it a treat or a stick. As long as the trainer kept up the variety, Sindri was willing to listen. As the harness was placed on her, it took quite a bit of time to catch her attention again, but eventually she turned back to look for a command. Sindri would grow out of her absent-mindedness and wandering interest, nut as a pup, she was definitely a hard one to train. As she got better with her lessons, she would take a position as a swing dog on our sprint team.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Link to Dog's Page: ZCK White Queen 'Marie'
(Completed/Incompleted) Task #1- Marie grew up as a shy pup. She was often off in the corner rather than playing with the rest of the pack. She was extremely sweet and intelligent, but she was never in the spotlight enough to be recognized. That is, until she began training. Marie shocked our staff with her attentiveness and willingness. She wanted to learn, which made it very easy on our trainer. Marie picked up on the basic commands without any issue. She was one of our fastest learners, which definitely boosted her stance among the pack. Marie seemed to gain confidence as the training went on. She even gave a play bow once or twice, enacting a short chase session. Once she was ready for the harness, we introduced it to her. She sniffed at his, but gave no objection as it was slipped on. Marie then continued her training as though nothing was on. She passed her training with flying colors, and she earned a new name for herself at the kennel. She was also one of the best first-time racers that our kennel has experienced. The shy, quiet pup would grow to be a very gentle, cunning lead dog of our distance team, alongside Axel.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Link to Dog's Page: ZCK Dark Knight 'Asmund'
(Completed/Incompleted) Task #1- Asmund was much like Nanook as a pup. He was calm and intelligent, and he enjoyed the company of the slightly younger Nanook. The two would play and learn together. When the time for training came for Asmund, he was a bit upset about having to leave his friend. However, after a bit of a distraction with a tennis ball, Asmund was willing to listen to our trainer. He picked up easily on the basic commands. His only issue was with stay. The pup wanted to remain at our sides, so having to stay while we walked away was not his strongest area. Still, once he realized that we would come back, he did not object to staying. The harness was easy with him as well. After slipping it onto his head, the pup rolled around only slightly before turning back to our trainer. He ran around, learning to move with the new accessory. At one point, he began running to the kennel, most likely to show off his new harness to Nanook. Asmund, always a special pup with his rare mutation, would grow to be the lead dog of our sprint team, alongside his best friend Nanook. The two continue to work well together as well as help in training our younger pups.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Link to Dog's Page: ZCK Queen of Hearts 'Saga'
(Completed/Incompleted) Task #1- Saga was always expected to be one of our most intelligent pups. Being part Australian Shepherd and part Baltic Husky, the female was always a bit on the odd side. She enjoyed her time alone, apart from the pack. She even showed signs of aggression towards the other dogs. Saga did not like large groups or loud noises. So when training started, we expected a few hiccups. Saga was, like we predicted, very smart. However, she did not respond well to commands. She preferred to do her own thing. As a result, she took a bit longer to train. Still, our trainer was persistent. She believed Saga's behavior was due to her smaller size and differences. We introduced her to Axel, our large wolf hybrid. Axel took Saga under his wing, which made her open up a bit. Training went smoothly from there. Saga willingly participated in commands, as well as took well to the harness. Axel sat in the background the entire time, offering his young prodigy confidence and encouragement. Eventually, Saga grew to have her own strength, though she still enjoys Axel's company. Saga is now working as a swing dog on our distance team, following behind her friend Axel.
    (Completed) Task #2- ---

Marking. Iris needs some training, her stats aren't very good. I hope I win and can enter the dog I'm trying out for.

(Completed) Task #1-
I carefully harnessed up my new dog, my very first Baltic Husky. I was planning on building a whole team of them, and maybe even dabbling in breeding a bit, but for now I only had Doctor. He barked happily, jumping up on his hind legs before turning in a circle to try and investigate his harness and only suceded in tangling himself up. I knelt down and carefully began untangling him, which was not an easy job as he insisted on jumping and spinning almost constantly.

“You should have been a circus dog.” I told him. He only barked at me happily. I finally managed to untangle him and snatched up the rope trailing from his harness. “Mush!” I cried and he kept forward, almost yanking his leash from my hands before I could get moving fast enough. “Easy boy, slow down!” I called and he checked his pace, glancing back at me with what I could have sworn was a smirk. “

You did that on purpose.” I accused and Doctor barked happily. It was obvious that he had had training, and good training at that. I ran through my mental list of commands. “Gee.” I called up to him and he immediately swung to the right. “Good boy!!” I cried, already a little tired from running after him. “Now Haw!” Doctor swung left. “Good boy!!” I called again, “Woah now.” Doctor halted and I walked up to him, rubbing his ears and scruff. “Whose a good boy??” I cooed, offering him a bit of kibble which he snapped up. “Well do some more tomorrow.”

(Completed/Incompleted) Task #2-
I would love to see some events like swimming, fly ball and some other non-stat related competitions where you could earn items or a new harness or something for your dogs.

(Completed) Task #1-

My eyes were still on the soft sweet husky that was sitting on the rug in front of the fireplace. Ever since my team had crashed and I lost everyone, I had to regain my posture, and restart the team. I've been to soft on her though. I've been to afraid to put my baby through the harsh climates that my old team used to endure quite well, and that lead me to believe I must train her. Train her to be stronger then anything else. Of coarse being my only dog at the time, I was forced to come up with a different way to train. My thoughts were to trail as a still sat there on the edge of my ceder chest, staring into the flames as my dog lied at my feet.

I eventually got up as soon as I sorted everything out, and called to my dog to get her attention. "Iris." I said in a serious tone, but soon softened it as she looked up at me with her adorable face. "Training time." She got extremely excited, and ran in circles before heading to the door, I quickly opened it and out we went into the harsh snow. The cold briskness touched my face and gave a good sting. I shut the door behind me, and locked it with the wooden latch. Mostly so my dog didn't just immediately run back into the warmth when she noticed how cold it was. We were going to push things today, and I knew that Iris wasn't going to approve.

She didn't have a personal harness yet, but I got one of the old ones, and set up the broken down practice sled. As I taught her before, she waited patiently for me to hook on the old tarnished leather hooking it up. The second I let go however she seemed to rush off impatiently, dragging the sled behind her. I sighed in disappointment, and hoped that she would come back before chasing her.

"Irisene!" I called her and she rushed back, nearly damaging the old sled that carried behind her. I finally put a bunch of heavy equipment on the temporary sled and stood on it when she calmed down. I was a little rusty, but I quickly came to the terms, but before I could even say Mush She actually tried to start pulling the sled. She couldn't of coarse, it was to heavy. I remembered then that she was the only one, and while alone I wasn't to terribly heavy she was young, and by herself. "Woah!" I told her, before she could snap the old halter.

I fixed the weights and started over again. This time letting her carry the sleigh, without me on it. It was a bit unpractical, but she needed the practice. "Alright girl." I started off, and she looked at me with bright brown eyes of excitement. "Mush." I said softly, and she road off into the distance, keeping a good straight line. "Here!" I shouted again, and she started coming towards me. I continued commands, adding in a gee or haw once and a while, and stepped in when needed, but I didn't let her stop for some time.

In the end, unhooking her from the halter wasn't to hard, and she appeared to be exhausted. I had her endure long extensive training with no break till now, and I was proud of her. She still had a LONG way to go, but she seemed to enjoy it a lot better then I expected. She seemingly jumped on me in the end, not letting me get up as she licked me furiously. She may not be amazing at pulling a sled, but she sure had heart and I hoped that one day she could be the best on the team and leading the way.

(Completed) Task #2-
I would like to see a bit more specifics when setting out events (like requirements in our stories/drawings etc) as not all of us are experts in this and it would help if the event said.

You need to have your dog learn ___

Not just stat upgrades. It would also be cool to see cooperation events. Something where you have to work with multiple dogs on your team to help them learn teamwork, or even working with other users to complete the event!

Link to Dog's Page: Ace
(Completed) Task #1- Ace's story about his first training, I find very amusing, always curious about how everything worked. It had only been about 3 or 4 months since we got Kodi, and since we were going to start training him, (with the help from Phina) we thought training the pups for the first time would be a good idea too. We arrived at Phina's house, I had brought special tiny harnesses used to train puppies. I brought it out to Ace and he acted pretty funny. First time he saw it he spun in a few fast circles, then did laps around the yard. This continued for a few minutes, coming back to sniff the harness, then freaking out again. He wasn't freaking out in a bad way, just really excited. After he seemed to calm down and finally let me put the harness on him, he lied down sniffing and curiously biting it to see how it felt in his teeth. He got placed beside Doctor as a Wheel Dog. Phina took the team for a few runs before I got a turn. Ace absolutely loved it, and didn't mind the runners one bit, I was starting to think he was perfect for Wheel Dog. After I finished with them, I picked up the exhausted, but happy pup. He clearly enjoyed the his first training session, but was tired. I said good bye to Phina and her dogs before Ashe, Kodi, Ace and I got into the truck to go home. The copper brindle pup fell a sleep curled up to his mother in the front seat, he was usually quite hyper, but I think training is a good way for him to let out his bundled energy. After that, I officially assigned Ace to Wheel Dog of our Team, or at least when he was older.
(306/250 words)
(Completed) Task #2- (I'm guessing by event you mean an event like the recent Rescue Stray Round Up?) Maybe the Baltic Husky Association could host a summer event, where a breeder is selling dogs that you need to train in different areas, such as speed, stamina, and strength.
