- about the user >> Heyo, how's it going? I am wolf ;;, previously known as lesser dog., baltinator 3000 and more often as balto. . I am an owner within the JBD community, owning four others of my own ; Steaphan, Lionela, Ishimaru and Jackie, and am hoping to make Esme here my fifth. I am a decently active person on CS, and I do have a JBD fanclub account, found here although you are more likely to find me on CS then anything else. I am, for the most part, fairly active with my characters - even if I don't draw them here on CS, I regularly draw my characters traditionally, and even if I don't include them in big role plays, I will usually be making headcanons with them. If it is a requirement, I will get into contact with the owners of her family, as I do like this family of beans a bit more then I probably should.
I guess that is part of the reason why I tried for this girl. Not only do two of my own beans, Lionela and Jackie, share family with her (although they are not blood related) but Esme's father, Vine, happened to be the first bean I ever tried for - his readoption anyway. I have always liked his entire family line, and when I saw that this girl was going up for adoption, I did think on it for a few days but in the end I did decide that I would like to try, as she does remind me of her father design-wise a fair bit, and I felt that part of connection you usually need to strive for a character and make the best form you can.
Anyway, enough rambling, i hope you read my form and enjoy it! And I would like to put a small good luck here to all the other contestants, and hope that this girl gets chosen to go to the best home possible nvn.

- basics >> For my form, I have decided that it would be best if she were to keep her name - Esme. or formally, Esmerelda Amaryllis. Of course, the nickname of Esme would be used more often then not, especially for the children at her work placement. But this name has been decided to be kept for more of close comfort then anything, even with her slight distaste for the name itself. She is somewhere in her very late thirties, due to the fact she already has three kids of her own, one who is an adult and two who are close. She was born in early spring, early within the morning on a lightly raining day.
- occupation >> Esme works as a cook at a child daycare - every day she leaves at nine in the morning to cook to meals for around two hundred students every day. It isn't a job that pays well, but she enjoys it, for she gets to make these foods for the young ones. It represents a challenge for her, since some have allergies to certain foods and can't have them, so she gets to make a range of different foods. She doesn't allow the children within the kitchen, but sometimes if the kids have been good and eaten all their food, she will make them a treat. Of course, she also takes leftovers home. But she loves her job as a cook, and although her experience would let her get a better job, she wouldn't trade it for anything.

- personality >> Esme is a...motherly bean, to say for the least. There are more words that could probably describe her much better than 'motherly', but she would rather keep it simple for her and the others. She loves the young ones in the world - not only the ones in her job, but anyone around that age gap, really. If you're a child, you will have no way to get away from her when she tries to give you a hug or a special treat, of which she usually has many on hand due to her own children. Especially for the children that she encounters at her work, she has no favourites and so she will give all the kids a treat if they deserve one, and if they have all eaten her food.
She also happens to be very family-like and friendly, she loves everything about her family and her friends, and will usually put their needs before her own, as she cares for them all a lot. It is very easy for her to make friends, and she will make sure to have friendly conversation with most beans who may be looking for it, although she will know to leave you alone if you really need to be left alone. Esme makes sure to spend a lot of time with her family, even when she gets home from her job, being very tired, she makes sure to spend quality time with her youngest children ; with Vinny it is more difficult due to the fact he is older, but she does make time to talk to him. And of course, her husband, who she loves almost above the rest.
Of course, having to be around young ones most of her time - even if she isn't playing with them - she has learned how to be a rather playful and fun cook and mother. She take jokes and puns, and while she does worry a little if someone gets hurt, she generally isn't the one to say no to a little bit of fun and games. She often even tries to come up with new, creative ideas for the young beans to play and enjoy, and can be found, when she has the time, to watch them play and make sure that they don't play too rouge and that no one gets hurt. But with the ones who aren't so small, she lets them play rougher, and sometimes joins in on their games to have a go herself.
Despite all that, Esmerelda is also a rather shy bean ; not in the sense of around others, but more about compliments. She will often get things said about her - nice things, and she will have no way how to react. Sometimes she just thanks them, other times she'll laugh while her face is going red. She isn't used to compliments, although she has gotten them all throughout her life - but because she acts a little more strange to her normal self doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate the compliments. She really loves that others would say such nice things about her, and really its those beans who say those things that make her keep going with what she loves to do, and to help her strive and take the future as it comes.
She also happens to have a good sense of humor at that - is always seen as cracking jokes to the young ones who look like they need a little cheering up. While these don't seem funny to older beans, the ones around her age, she can always manage to crack a smile to sad children sitting by themselves, as she doesn't really want them to be sad when as a child, all you should really be is happy, experiencing life as it comes. Sometimes she even manages to come up with puns that may sound a little bad and not funny to adults, but to the teenagers and children, they happen to find most of them funny, which then makes Esme herself happy, when she sees those children smiling from her own words.
She also isn't a one who is afraid to stand up for herself, choose for herself what she thinks is right and what will have the best outcome - not for herself, but for her family, friends, and others that are around her, as they come before she does any day. She is alert of her surroundings, and when something changes and she doesn't like it, she will always make sure to bring it up to whoever she may need to, whoever may be able to change the problem of which she has noticed. It usually happens when it concerns the safety to children at the daycare, or when it concerns her own children. She wants to protect them all, and to do that she has to point out what she thinks may become problems in the growing environments.
- history >> As a child, Esme was always very bright and alert, very happy, and the eldest child of four. Being the elder, she did hold the most responsibility among her and her siblings, and I suppose that is where her care for others came out - she was sometimes left with caring for her younger siblings as she got older, and while they did give her a run for her money, she kept up and was surprisingly good at keeping them in order...most of the time, anyway. She would always be sure to read stories, to help her siblings or herself fall asleep at night, and she loved to doodle within anything she could get her hands on - paper, cardboard...the walls up to a certain point. She was also rather messy, but came through unharmed.
She may friends with Sen during this time, before they became teenagers, and with his quiet exterior and her rather calm and friendly self, they were best of friends.
As a teenager, she did change to become the new her. The motherly side was still there, but she did become a little more on the rough side. Her love for her family, however, grew much more, and she became much more protective, especially over her younger sister. She didn't want anything to hurt them, much as a mother would think, and she made sure she knew where they were at all times, except for when they were at school or home. She began to read less, but spent more time with Sen and some other friends ; one of those who turned out to be Aloe. She had a growth spurt in this period, growing from a pretty small child to an average-slightly taller height to compete with classmates. Esme also took up sport and cooking, considering those to be her best hobbies...but cooking was the only one that really stuck for her through the years.
She also took part in a peer project during high school, where every Monday and Friday, last session, she would have a group of lower year levels and try to build their skills and confidence up. She made sure every time to bring along treats for them all.
Esme was mature enough as she entered adulthood. As soon as she finished high school, she went to collage to get a degree, and right after that, to allow her to legally get a job that involved cooking. While she was really good at it, after her four year course, she went to work in a daycare, which happened to be in a school itself. It had been obvious she loved kids, and so this is where she decided to work, where she could be around them everyday and cook them delicious meals. She even managed to remember every order, and which kids couldn't have what within the first two months. She took this very seriously. She had stuck with Aloe as a friend from their teenhood, but during adulthood the two came together, eventually married and had their first child together, Vinny. He wasn't much of a trouble as she had dealt with children before. Soon after that, they then had the twins, Smuckers and Addie.

- relationships >> Aloe ;; Esme, of course, loves Aloe a lot. He is her best friend, her soulmate, and her husband. She really adores him, and wouldn't give him or the children up for anything. She thinks he is a fantastic father to their children, and will be there with him every step of their life and journey together. She likes to sometimes just grab a book and settle with him, when they're both home. And on the weekends she tries to convince him every time to come with her for a walk in the park, half of the time which she knows she succeeds. All in all, she thinks that Aloe was the perfect choice for her, and she will never leave his side no matter what.
Vinny ;; Her firstborn son. She loves him a lot - and he does hold a dear place with her since he is her first child. And although he is now an adult, and they can't see each other much, she still keeps in contact with the grown bean. He makes her feel old, really. She feels as if he grew up too fast for her - but she loves him all the same, and is proud of how far he has actually been able to come. And she will forever be by his side as his mother, and she will support him through any choices and watch over him, and be there for him if he ever really needs it. She loves to spend time with him these days, and cherishes every moment she gets with him, as he was the first child to welcome her to motherhood,
Smuckers and Addie ;; Ahh, the two twins. These two, when they were younger, were a bit harder for her to deal with as they usually wanted the same thing and well, she only ever had two hands to deal with them. But she thinks she did a fantastic job of raising them with Aloe. She is proud of how they are dealing with life right now, and she is proud to have them call her their mother ; and she loves that they aren't identical twins. She does have a bit of a closer bond with Addie, as she is her only daughter and she is able to relate somewhat to her more, but that doesn't mean she doesn't adore her second son Smuckers either. She gives the both of them equal love.
Vine ;; Esme looks up to her father. She knows she inherited her somewhat shy side from the green bean, but she does see him as a role model. As a young child, she was to be thought as 'daddy's girl', since she was the eldest of the four children, and in reality her bond isn't that strong ; but it is pretty close, if she had to say so herself. She tries to keep in constant contact with Vine and her mother, as she doesn't want them to turn distant within her life.
Banana Blitz ;; Their personalities clash a little in Esme's eyes, but that doesn't mean she doesn't love her mother. Blitz was her mother, her only mother, and she wouldn't want to trade her for even the 'best' mother as Blitz is just that in her eyes. Blitz helped her become who she is today, helped with changing her as she grew, and she knew, and knows now, she could go to her for anything if she needed to, and to her, she is her mothers number one fan.
Clé ;; There is something about Clé that makes Esme...click with him. She doesn't know what it is - perhaps it is because he is the eldest brother she has, and that she is older then him. Because she had no brother to protect her, she would have to think that when they were younger, he probably was the next best thing...although she has no clue how reliable that would actually turn out to be. But she loves him a lot, and often invites him over...or asks him to care for Addie and Smuckers when neither her or Aloe can.
Cheryl ;; Out of her three siblings, Esme would have to say that Cheryl isn't her favourite, but rather she is the most protective of her...or was. Esme knew her two brothers could handle themselves, but as children, she didn't want Cheryl to get hurt by anything. Of course, as adults, that has simmered down a great lot, especially since they both have children of their own, but when Esme can meet up with her sister she can't help but feel extremely happy.
Rarret ;; Being the youngest of the four, Esme is unsure of what to think of Rarret. Of course she does love him, as any sister would love their brother, but I guess its the age gap that they have between them. Esme doesn't have constant contact with him, and she even regrets it, as she feels she is missing out on...sometime. It must be because she is so family-orientated. But she wishes, and she will try, to talk to him more and meet with him more.
