*pokes nose over* Hello~! I started making some training art for my new Calvar, only, I started with the skull, and did the shading, only to realize that the skull was a bit too large for me to do a full body. So... It got turned into gift art/lines for the species, should anyone wish to be added? Or let me know which of your Calvar(s) you'd like colored, and I'll get to them as soon as I've got the time.

those lines look amazing, k! i might have to color in Electrify sometime on those, they're very high quality. it looks like you put a lot of effort into them!

Why thank you~! I'm not sure about high quality, but I'm certainly glad you like them. I think the hardest part was the skull- specifically where the mandible joins with the rest of the skull, but other than that it wasn't much trouble~

Can their ears perk upright like a horse's, or are they always flat and facing backwards? :3

while a calvar's are not as mobile as a horse's, they can still prick up. think of, say, a german shepherd dog when thinking of how far the ears can turn.

the skulls are certainly difficult, especially attaching them to the body in such an unusual way, aha. i always found the split hooves to be the most difficult part of a calvar's anatomy, but perhaps that's simply because i've always drawn horses.
