We'll have to send out more patrols and tell them to keep an eye." She commented before beginning to dig with the elder and medicine cat. "Before long you'll have to take an apprentice." She mewed, looking at Threeleg.

Threeleg gently placed his mentor on the ground at Fernstar's command. At her words, his mind settled on one apprentice. "I have a cat in mind that I feel has a path set out to be a medicine cat." He mewed.

"We just wanted to play" he continued his voice getting lower for each word he said I have heard Goldenpaw mutter about being a medicine cat but medecine cats would never hurt another cat Dustpaw thought closing his eyes to keep his cool and not run away from the fighting cats.

Dustpaw shook his head "Threeleg hasn't said anything about who he will take as an appretice" he mewed lowly getting slightly annoyed at Berrypaw for saying that, she was giving Goldenpaw false hope, what if Threeleg chose someone else there was no gaurantee that Starclan would choose Goldenpaw just because he was blind. There is more to becomeing a medecine cat than defects you had to be chosen by starclan "How are we ruining for you by playing, playing is just normal behaviour for cats our age" he added looking at Goldenpaw his tail flicking.

Torrentheart nodded to herself, happy with her catch. She had gotten two mice and a small but plump rabbit to take back to camp. "It'll be worse when leaf-bare comes," she mumbled to herself. The chill of the wind wrapped through the trees, reminding her of the coming season. She quickly dug up her prey, then headed back towards the camp, the warm scent of her catch filling her nostrils.


Daywatcher blinked slightly, awoken out of her nap by the sound of many voices chattering at once. "Who in StarClan's name..." she grumbled to herself, "is making all that noise?!" Lifting herself off the ground, she shook the sleep from her mind, then listened more closely. Nearby, the apprentices chattered happily like little starlings. "Might as well keep an eye on them," she mumbled to herself as she finally found them by Threeleg's den.


Bearpelt let out a grunt as he joined his leader and medicine cat at digging. He began to feel the muscles in his shoulders and legs as they worked. He was glad to be able to do something useful again for his Clan. If only it wasn't this way, though.


Snakefang sat in the clearing his Clan called home, watching as the other cats mulled about. As he let out a yawn, he couldn't help but wonder when another patrol was going to be out. He was bored, and was honestly hoping for a few cats straying on to the territory looking for a fight. Although his mentor had always taught him not to pick fights, he tended to seek them out as a s a form of entertainment.

He was feeling much better now, but was very bored, there wasen't happened anything at the camp. Fernstar was still burying the Snakemint's body and the apprentices was playing a mossball. Sighing he layed on his belly and looked at when his sister walked into the camp, jaws full of prey 'At last someone did have done something...' he thought.

After a catching her last mice she walked back to the camp. Dropping them to the pile she licked her lips and looked at the playing apprentices. She looked at the Berrypaw, which was been choised to be mentored By her Brother Darkcloud. She never ever understanded why her Brother didn't want to train her, is it like any Warriors dream to mentor a apprentice. Sighing she shaked her head and looked at her Brother 'What's wrong with you?' she thought.
