- serves as a means of connecting you with players of your same caliber, and;
- determines the amount of title points you gain from winning a match.

and, for those who were confused about how the beginning splatfest power level is determined: it's based upon your ranked battle ranking!

I love the splatfest power! Now I don't have to worry about stronger teams beating me up. I think jetpacks are winning so far. Well, gotta wait for 7 hours

So, I'm currently reading a list of changes that came with the latest update and... YES. By the sound of it, a lot of gear abilities I like got even better. I didn't notice last time I played, but I didn't really have any of the drastically-improved ones equipped, so yeah. I'll have to go check that out soon.

Also, it's April, so that means the "Sheldon's Picks" weapons are coming really soon. I'm not sure if it's just me being easily impressed, but I'm really looking forward to them. >w< I hope we get some weapons with Disruptors in their sets; I've fallen in love with those somewhat recently.

Personally, I'm excited for the slosher I saw! I really want to see what it does...imagine a slosher with a kraken! Would do wonders in Port Mackerel.
