"we know nothing of any cat named applefrost. however, we can see that you are on our territory. you have two options. give me back my kits and have a SMALL portion of the territory, or, you can watch as we take down your pathetic clan." she snarled, her green gaze gleaming with hatred.

he stepped back with surprise. "w-what's going on here?!" he asked, confused and angered. "this isn't your territory!" he said, which he instantly took back the second the border scent filled his nostrils. "d-dawnstar... this isn't our territory!" he said, shocked.

Echostone tensed. "You heard Shiningstar. Give us back the kits. They would die anyways, considering such a horrible,leader you have."

Dawnstar squared her shoulders. "Back off," she snarled. "We aren't looking for a fight. I do have a fewquestions, however. Who really is this she cat? And what just are you talking about?"

Shadeclaw padded a bit ahead of the younger warrior, but not before mewing over his shoulder to the mollies, "We are going to the border; we'll be back shortly." The sinewy tom then turned back to the task of investigation the border, his tail lowering as his head did. "Don't worry; we're going to be out here awhile. And it's not like you can't hunt on the border if your dying too," the senior warrior said to Smallpool with an amused purr. Ah, these younger warriors, with so much energy and zest for hunting! However, his yellow eyes narrowed as the faint scent of a fox, and the stronger scent of many cats way to close to the border. He'd have to report this to Dawnstar immediately. Shadeclaw took his time to rub his chin on the bark and occasionally scratch it up, remarking the border effectively.

Hawkpaw saw movement in the corner of her eye. Turning, the petite molly's inquisitive teal eyes remained locked on Robinear's lips as she spoke. Lip reading was simply a way of life for her, and luckily, Robinear wasn't a particularly fast speaker, so she deciphered the faint, garbled words quite efficiently. "Yes. I am looking for Buckgorge." As the young molly spoke, she kneaded the ground in anticipation. She wanted to get out of this camp, to practice battle training and hunt, but her mentor was nowhere to be found. It was beginning to annoy the rather impatient molly. "Have you seen him?"

she rolled her eyes. "i will not answer any questions until i know that MY kits are safe!" she snarled.

he hissed. "dawnstar is a wonderful leader, how dare you question her authority!"

Echostone laughed. "Please, Stonewhisker. Dawnstar is just about as experienced as a baby fledgling." Echostone's claws unsheathed.

Dawnstar curled her upper lip. "Who are your kits, Applefrost?"

she hissed. after a while, she hit her head on a rock, causing amnesia, and she honestly couldn't remember anything except for her kits and what happened when she woke up and started waveclan. "i do not know who applefrost is! i just want my kits!" she snarled, unsheathing her claws. "i'm willing to fight for them!"

snarled. "how do you know my name?!" he hissed, looking over at echostone.

pineshade followed the patrol into the forest, where she wrinkled her nose at the scent of the fox-stench. it was fresh, from around sunrise. the she-cat rubbed her back on ferns and trees, until her scent was all over them. she noticed that the other cats were also smelling the fox.

Echostone looked at Stonewhisker. He faked his claws down the tom's cheek, as a warning. "You are just as stupid as Dawnstar. I am your former Clanmate. You banished me for something I didn't do!"

Dawnstar sighed. "We can't help you, she-cat! We don't know who you are, and who your kits are!"

((Could Lilacsky or some WaveClan cat come and tell the story, please? Echostone wants to protect Shiningstar, who doesn't know anything. ))

"this is not your clanmate. she is your enemy. a shecat whom which you called applefrost. a name that didn't suit her. her kits were stolen from her and she was forced by her mate to leave her clan. her home. so she moved on. the question is, did you? after she hit her head on a river rock, she couldn't remember a thing. i am lilacsky, and this is shiningstar. that's echostone. we are cats of waveclan." she hissed lowly.
