Alex smiled, a thoughtful look in his eyes before asking her a question. "Hmm... What's your earliest memory?"

"I think..." Megan paused, trying to remember. "Kieran!"
Her eyes widened once more in surprise and fear.

Alex's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. The name sounded familiar but he couldn't quite place it.

A loud, furious growl came from the door, making Megan tremble.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, as he took a step forward.
"I came," he paused for a second, scanning the room. "To visit you."
But something in voice was different, mad.

Alex turned his head to the door, recognition in his eyes. He felt Megan tremble in his arms and scowled, holding her closer to him protectively. He stayed silent, watching him carefully.

Kieran took a few more steps forward, his shoes squeaking quietly on the water.
He cocked his head to the side, staring at Megan.
Suddenly, he turned his gaze towards Alex.
"What the hell have you done to her?!" Kieran yelled.

"Nothing." Alex replied easily, watching Kieran from his position. He let go of Megan, kissing her forehead gently before slipping from the bed.

Kieran scowled at the sight.
"Don't you dare touch her!" he shouted, curling his hands into fists.
"Kieran! Please... Don't..." Megan begged as she realised what was about to come.

Alex rose an eyebrow. "Why not? She's my girlfriend." He stated nonchalantly. He let his bandaged hands fall to his sides.
