"Well, it wasn't your time luckily.I'm sorry, Dewpaw, that whole thing was my fault. I should have made sure that you knew how to fish and swim," the brown tabby tom mewed quietly as he sat back on his haunches. "Should I go get the medicine cat? You could still be injured, even if you're not showing any symptoms right now," Cedarpaw suggested with concern filling his voice. He curled his soggy, striped tail around himself.

She looked down, "No...I should've told you before hand.." She retorted gently. She shook her head, "No..I'm fine." She didn't remember bumping against anything, but then again you couldn't be too sure. She noticed Cedarpaw's wet pelt and gulped guiltily. "I'm sorry, you're all wet." She moved towards him and placed her paws on his back. She started rubbing his four the opposite way to try to warm him up, feeling bad for causing him to get wet in the first place.

Thrushkit:The young tom rolled over to his mother blindly bumping into Flamekit "Rhhh!"He squealed. He all ready knew his first day was gonna be terrible...

Flamekit squealed. "Hey!" she shrieked and moved closer to her side of the nest, hoping for her mother. "Where's Hollytail?" she asked quietly.

Rowanflame smiled at his mate. "Are you happy to be a mother again?" he asked, trying to start a conversation. Sure he enjoyed the peaceful quietness and cherished it- but it felt a bit... awkward.

""You're too loud." He complained after hearing his sister shriek. He batted at her with his paw, then at Thruskit, trying to get his siblings to stop making so much noise. He was tired and that made him a little cranky.

The brown tabby tom stood up, and he shook the grey and white she-cat away from him. "Don't feel bad for me, you're the one who almost drowned," Cedarpaw mewed solemnly. "Are you sure that you're alright?" the tom asked, feeling hesitant about not getting help. Although, he still wasn't completely sure why he was even that worried about her being hurt. The tom felt like he needed to clear his head. "You should be more careful next time. It would bother me if you got hurt. You know,'cuz you're a member of our clan." The tabby avoided her amber gaze, and he focused in the fish that was still laying on the rocks.

"I will feel bad because..." She huffed a little, not wanting to argue over things. "I'm ok, just wet, cold, and miserable." She responded, trying to add a hint of amusement to lighten up the mood. She nodded though, knowing that she should be more careful. "Next time I get to pick the hunting spot." She teased lightly, fully rising to her paws. "We should head back..that's enough hunting for now." She said, noticing him not meeting her gaze. She almost felt irritated when she saw him looking away. She wanted him to look at her, but didn't know why.

[Cloverwoods]

Rowanflame smiled as she returned the lick to the cheek. He then nudged the mouse toward her. "Go on, take first bite." he insisted politely.

Sandclaw jumped into a nearby bush, careful not to make a sound. His ears perked as he heard a faint sneeze, and he assumed it was just Cloverwing. The tom then flicked his tail once he was in the right position. He made sure to give just a slight flick, because he didn't want to alarm the prey.

(Sorry for not being so active! Every other cat of mine is free than Cloverwing!)

Cloverwing

Cloverwing saw Sandclaw's tail flick, she unsheathed her claws and rapidly moved towards the squirrel scaring the small creature directly at Sandclaw.

Cedarpaw slid off of the bank into the shallow of the water, his brown tabby fur getting soaked with the cold water once again. He kept careful footing as he climbed his way onto the rock where he had left the fish that he caught. The tabby tom gripped it tightly in his maw as he climbed back up on the bank beside Dewpaw. At this point, he was so tired that he wanted to leave the fish there, but he wasn't going to abandon the only good thing that came from the fishing attempt. ''I'd suggest bird hunting next time, but I'm almost afraid that you wouldn't know how to climb either,'' the tom tried to tease back. He still continued to avoid her gaze because he thought that he wanted to put some emotional distance between them at that point. He didn't like to have to worry about other cats. It was bad enough that he had to worry about his siblings.

She had to force a laugh out to try and break up the awkward silence that aired over them. She patiently waited for him to return, before starting towards camp. She wasn't sure why, but she felt her skin prick with uneasiness underneath her coat. She glanced back at Cedarpaw, seeing his gaze off towards somewhere else. Her whiskers twitched a little, but she kept walking on. Why won't you look at me mouse-brain? She looked at the ground as she thought. If he hadn't been there, Dewpaw would've drowned. She looked ahead, realizing how grateful she was that he was there.
