since apparently I can't just quote myself after pages now, here is a 50x50 pixel commission I received from Nopeita @ da! Super happy I was able to commission them, I have wanted to for years n_n

ahhhhh I really like this theme. qvq

The first character that came to mind for me was Gus, who is a few hundred years old and lost his left arm whilst fighting. :') He's constantly annoyed by the jokes made about his arm, though they usually come from friends, and he can forgive them (like his best buddy grimoire). He's very happy-go-lucky though, and doesn't let it bother him.
Kouta has scars around his neck due to a near-death experience that nobody including rockie knows about. He also has trouble swallowing whole foods, and usually sticks to liquidy things like milkshakes and such. He also suffers from depression due to his family being a bit not cool, though it doesn't affect him like it used to.
A lot of my closed species characters have different things though (like blindness and such), but I'm not going through all of them. |D

I made this little cute thing of Bren and Jenny yesterday, and I love it a bit. o///o


I also finished this art piece of three of my 'sonas this morning, so I want to show it off. qvq <3
I'm so proud of it omg. 4 and a half hours it took

Also, yes, a great deal of my characters have ADHD because I have it too, so it's a mental disability I know better than most others. X3 On the note of Duncan, I actually used to ponder over how PPS affected characters also. I know a great many people seemed to dislike PPS because it gave them a developmental block, but I always thought it would be interesting if their body never grew, but their mind was like that of whatever age they were. So teen or adult stuck in the body of a child. Although, I'd love a PPS character who retains the mind and body of child, that would be fun as well. :3 Yeah, Cybren kinda reminds me a bit of that character too. X3 Cybren is one of my favorite futuristic/sci-fi-ish characters. X3

I had a very old moose character I called Polo. Well, I never developed Polo and I didn't design him very well. But his original idea inspired me to make possibly a new character! If I don't feel like I connect I might just sell it. *shrugs*
Any opinions? Should I continue to work on him? I don't want to put any effort into something that isn't worth my time.

She was supposed to represent myself as a spirit. At the point and time I had been very depressed, and didn't have a will to live. I was just a ghost in my real life- not doing anything with myself. So, Birch is a spirit. She always is the shoulder to cry on, or someone you can talk to- because she doesn't want anyone else to end up like her.

Ah, I don't usually do so but sometimes I base them on various voice-actors I've heard throughout time. Sometimes I look for tones and accents that fit the character well, and expressions and speech patterns that people are most likely to encounter in conversations with them, too. It all depends on what you think would suit your character! Hope that helps a bit.
