((I don't think anybody's talking to your characters directly, but I may be wrong. Smokestep and Lionpaw must still be nearby to Lochsong, and more cats are noticing that the patrol is looking at the sky with fear, word is spreading that there's a predatory bird that might very well enter camp but they're not supposed to attack it, so I suppose your characters could react to that?))

Lionpaw shrugged. "Yea, it surprised me too." He whispered back to Rainpaw, their pelts brushing softly. He tried to be brave around Rainpaw. "I will protect you, though".

Leopardheart stared up nervously at the blue pelt above her. "I wonder what's going to happen," She murmured worriedly.

Brambletail
Brambletail looked at Fleetwind as she came over. He twitched his ear as she whispered to him before nodding. "I couldn't agree more. I don't like the idea of waking up every morning worrying I'm gonna get a fresh set of these!" He mewed quietly, glaring at his scratches before looking back at the sky. They're all mousebrained. The warrior added silently to himself.

Ferngaze
Ferngaze overheard the conversation and glanced at the sky. Her white and black fur bristled and her eyes narrowed as she waited. They were silly to think we could trust a bird, especially after it injured a warrior.

Cloudpaw
Cloudpaw saw everyone looking at the sky and heard something about a bird. He instantly sprung to his paws and his brilliant amber gaze fixed on the sky. Without his control, his white fur began to bristle and stand on end.

Rainpaw
Rainpaw was flattered at his words, and tried not to blush as their pelts brushed. She stood straight, her fur beginning to lie flat and her claws digging into the earth. "But I don't need protecting!" She insisted in a playful tone, nudging him and friendliness glittering in her bright eyes.

Bailey stared hard at Smokestep, looking her in the eyes with her burning blue gaze. "I will only call her off if you promise to leave her alone and never harm her. All of you," she growled, teeth bared. "She won't attack kits, she's not that crazy. But if you hurt me or threaten her, I promise that you'll regret it."

Raggedstar stared at Bailey. He had never seen his best friend act this way. Kittypethood really did change her. "Snowpaw," he meowed hurriedly. "Okay, we won't hurt her. Just call her off. Stop her from attacking. Please." He pleaded.

Bailey gazed at Raggedstar, relaxing when she saw the honesty in his eyes. "Very well. Adder! I'm not in danger. Come meet the clan!" She howled to the sky and the circling figure of the eagle. She looked back at the clan. "But know she'll attack in an instant if you make any wrong moves," she meowed, quieter now. She looked at them again. "Sorry to do that. I just needed to let you know what we're capable of. No need to be so tense," she meowed to Fleetwind and Lionpaw. "She won't attack." Her voice had now returned to her smooth, soft, silky voice.

Raggedstar still looked uneasy as Bailey invited the bird down to the ground.

Adder flapped her wings one more time to turn herself in the air before tucking them close to her sides and diving towards the cats in camp. Might as well show them what I can do, if any of them are threats. She thought. A moment before she would have hit the ground, the large bird flared her wings to slow her landing. He giant talons hit the ground with a giant thud as she landed. Once she was settled, she lumbered over to Bailey, nuzzling her quickly before looking around at the other cats. "Hello. Friend of Baley's." She chirped.

Redstar yelped and leaped backward at the huge bird's landing. He gulped and stood up straighter as he stared at the monsterous bird, but was still seen to be shaking. "G-Greetings, Ad-Adder. I am Ragged-star. We mean no harm," he meowed awkwardly.

Bailey chuckled at the leader's awkwardness and fright. "Wow. So brave and mighty now, huh?" She teased as she nuzzled Adder back. "Adder, this is Raggedstar, leader of Crowclan."

Raggedstar coughed awkwardly again. "Erm, Snowp- I mean, Bailey, there's something you should know. After you left, I got my warrior name of Raggedsnow and your mother changed the clan name to - Snowclan."

Bailey stepped back. She mouthed these words over and over until she was sure she had heard them correctly. "Really?" She asked, and her friend nodded. "Well, what will my name be, then? I can't be Snow- if that's the name of the clan. It's unheard of a cat to have the clan name."

Raggedstar was so full of awkwardness he would explode. "Heh, yeah, didn't think that one through, did we?" He gave a slight smile as he avoided everyone's eyes.

Adder tilted her head. "What about change Clan name?" She asked simply. "Why Baley change name?" She added, trying to hold back laughter as she scared the leader of the Clan half to death.

Fleetwind kept her narrowed eyes fixed on Adder, though she kept her distance from the huge bird rather than try to tangle with it again. "Hm. If I ever catch it flying in at night, I'll kill it." She murmured almost inaudibly. "It's a menace no matter what it says."

Smokestep, with a large amount of restraint, stepped forward a tiny pace. "Greetings, Adder, I am Smokestep. And, er, well, with regards to name changes, it's really up to Raggedstar, but I guess it's easier for us to change cats' names than the Clan's, since our names change much more often than the Clan's." The fur on the back of her spine prickled with unease in attempting to speak with a natural enemy, but she reined in her emotions for the sake of making Bailey/Snowpaw/whatever feel like she was welcomed back.
