Really wanted to answer this weeks theme since I didn't last time ;v;
a-wall is bipolar
cleo's bottom jaw was replaced with metal,making it hard for her to use it
devon lost most of his right ear,making him deaf in it,as well as loosing his right eye
chibi(he's really a wolf) has mild schizophrenia
jinxy's mouth is hecked up.he can't speak

my sonas all have anxiety disorders and asperger's [well since I do it made sense]
they're still learning coping techniques for anxiety and im not entirely sure if there are coping techniques for asperger's ?? none that I've been made aware of, anyway
their asperger's is fairly stable and they've just gotten used to it. they don't cope well with change and they don't really do well in social situations. they also take things quite literally
their anxiety's been getting a bit worse, and basically leads them to feeling way too unsafe to go outside on their own. they're all fearful of pain and death - of themselves and loved ones - so they just cant.... do things due to that fear. they also tend to worry a lot about everything
lynt and kidd also have eyesight [nystagmus] and hearing problems [slight hearing loss] - neither are super serious tho - bc I love to give my sonas my problems

nirosh [blue guy in my signature] quite plausibly has anxiety. he's fairly over-reactive and thinks of all the bad outcomes to things. he also has issues with managing his emotions as he tends to let them build up until they all kinda spill over

toborr has a robotic eye since he lost the other one when one of his robots exploded whoops
it doesn't really affect him too much. he got his best friend to help him to build one
he also has robotic arms, but he still has his own arms functioning perfectly well - it mainly just makes stuff quicker

the fewterer lost one of his arms and eyes when he was attacked by a friend's oc. this sparked on his vengeful nature as he was still mourning the loss of a friend. he's adapted well to using one eye and one arm, but is still pretty weakened by this

duveki is themed off of dogs, but im not 100% sure whether or not i want to make him "colourblind" [well mainly blind to certain colours like how dogs are]

there are also some which don't have outwardly stated mental disorders but it's likely that they have a form of mental disorder - im just not sure on which one it would be [and once I worked that out i'd research on it more]
annnd there are some more but I am v lazy

Do you have any space related characters? I dont mean space-themed designs, I mean REAL space? Aliens? Astronauts? Living on a space station, or a different planet? How does it change how they see things?

technically i have an alien species that i don't really show around much :p
i also have fantrolls, who are technically aliens
both fantrolls and the species live on a planet different to earth [fantrolls have alternia/beforus since they're homestuck fancharacters]
my species' planet hasn't been named yet tho

If either were to meet a character from 'normal' earth, would they get along, or be hostile towards each other?

fantrolls;; they actually do talk to some fankids so :p they're generally pretty much fine w/ them, although duveki is confused by them. to the point where he's a bit rude to them without meaning to be whoops
Rhett;; he would probably look at people and screech at them. gotta keep his lover safe
leven;; probably needs to be held back by Rhett since hes super friendly. "look at these cool aliens!!! where are their feathers?" "....they're aliens, leven" "i think you're scaring them"
picar;; hes likely to cry bc hes confused [and he cries a lot anyway so]. he'll probably hide behind his sister until he sees a shiny thing bc he really likes shiny things
capus;; probably keep to the shadows and view them warily. her and picar would probably then plot to steal some things idk

I'm not sure I ever showed off this amazing art I got of Known by Cassdoodless [his designer] as a gift a while back, I feel like showing it again because its adorable, before he got his scars and such:





Known as mentioned above has a large amount of scars which hinder him movement wise, he also suffers from mild psycotic tendencies which result in him taking the kill to eat thing way too far, it fits nicely with the story because my other character Capris has to try and control him.

Snake is completely mute as a result of a snake bite to the throat at an early age, nearly all of his voice box was torn out but thankfully his throat has stitched itself back together enough now tat he can make some small sounds but will never be able to manage words again, he doesn't mind too much though bc snakes don't talk anyway.


Unsure who art is by, the artist has removed themselves from DA I believe

Butler is a psycopath, who deems himself above the rest of the population and kills utterly without thinking, this comes as a result from his transicion from the demon world into the much smaller human world, he feels trapped here and like a feral animal lashes out.

What is what you first look for in a character?
For me it is connectability.
I don't call myself a character hoarder anymore because i have taught myself how to take a step back and see if I can give the character a personality first, then I consider how hard it will be to get art, and then I contemplate whether or not I feel any inclination to draw them. I also look for a uniqueness that really click with me<3

Well, my Fursona Fleava (Art by Xelinator) has OCD, depression and social axiety like I do (not sure if there's a name for what it is besides plain old depression) which highly effects how she interacts with others.


I've been considering an anger disorder for my MLP OC SunnySide (Art by me), but haven't be able to find one that works with what I'm going for (suggestions are appreciated :3)

This week's theme is... Illnesses and Disabilities
I don't really have many. Only one that comes to mind is Larkspur. She was born with a birth defect and is deaf in both ears. She has never been able to hear anything but she is happy-go-lucky and it does not really stop her. She goes to a normal school and has a best friend just like anyone else.
You would think since I have type 1 diabetes I would have a character with that but I prefer characters in a fantasy world and have few that would work in a normal world with normal diseases like that otl
